Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today.

PyCharm has tons of advantages when compared to text editors in terms of supported functionality. With respect to Python development, PyCharm definitely stands out with features like remote debugging, code quality checks, and integrations with third-party software like Docker and Kubernetes.

Pros & cons

Jira Software bt Atlassian

Pros
Atlassian is a very employee-wellbeing minded employer
Their approach to healthy & collaborative workspace development is effective
Their culture is positive & affirming
Their goals are attainable & reasonably ambitious
All around, great company
ALL of the coworkers I have interacted with so far are awesome people first and foremost
The company values are not just words but truly a set of principles that everyone keeps top of mind
The products are great and true industry leaders(always nice), but I am truly blown away by the amount of community, support, and collaboration that Atlassian has made possible in a remote world!I can honestly say that Atlassian is an extremely unique place to work because of the values and culture and it makes a difference every day I log on
You really feel the culture of the company
The company values are respected and followed by every employee
In this company you have time to develop and grow
The job is always challenging but balanced
I enjoy working in this company and be part of great products.

Cons
At times, progress can be so rapid that it feels like adequate or appropriate preparations haven't been taken with the consequences created
And yet, when these events occur, the company doesn't shy off evaluating to self-improve, and taken the necessary measures to correct the issues raised.Advice to ManagementKeep doing what you're doing!
Things can move fast at times but it's expected given the amazing rate at which Atlassian is growing.Advice to ManagementMy manager has truly been the best manager I've had in my career so far
A perfect blend of support and enablement but there is still a ton of trust and autonomy
Everything goes great
I do not see any cons.

YouTrack

Pros
I've been working also on its workflow functionality which I've found very useful and complete
Also the docs are great and exhaustive which is a huge pro often overlooked
Very nice experience I would definitely suggest it especially to a team that likes to tinker with their tools in order to make them tailored to their needs
I'm glad it exists, it looks nice enough to convince the management and knows enough to satisfy most of the developers too
We tried a free version
It has many great tools for project management."

Cons
After initial setup, it was kind of hard to set up users and create issues off the bat
Their UI was a little confusing
For example, the option to search by 'Assigned to me' has altogether disappeared from the main menu
Now you have to specially navigate to find that tag
From a user perspective it's annoying
From an API developer perspective, it's annoying
Gets The Job Done But Clunky With Limited Views."
