Karbon vs Signal Private Messenger

The biggest downside I have found is when updating a template the templates should automatically be updated when a new version is created as if a job is on annual renewal if the previous job has not been reset the new one created is based on the last one made instead of the new updated template. I would like the option for when editing the template if there was an option for updating all existing or to update all future job creations that would be the biggest improvement.

Being able to create work, create tasks under the work, and assign to staff. Everyone that's assigned to the work can track the status of the work and reassign when needed to manage people's workload. We can also create budget time for the work/task/assignment and log actual time to better manage team capacity and expectations. I also like the comment features where we can tag a certain team member and comment on a task, note, and email message. It is a great tool to eliminate additional email messages as well as keep the communications in one place.

The thing I like best about Karbon is the capabilities that go beyond just an email platform like Outlook - the ability to create "works" for a whole team to track their time against, with organizational capabilities that allow you to manage your work day, week, month, which comes in handy when trying to plan for the future as well as grow your company. I like the ability to consolidate all of your teammates's emails with a contact so you can also get caught up on the email threads without having to bother teammates to get the TLDR, which could also get misconstrued through the game of "telephone".

It's one of the most recognizable secure messenger platform out there. Runs smoothly, without any real problems. It's probably doesn't have much in terms of problems due to it's simplicity. There is no video chat or voice chat so there's a lot to be desired if you want more. Telegram or Element, would be better for those seeking more then text communication.

Signal is a great high security messaging tool, everyone should use it. And it's gotten better over time. One small easy way for people to claw back some digital privacy. Capabilities have improved over time. Great app! Awesome to see privacy and security rolled into a single, non-profit messaging app, especially given messaging apps are mostly drop-in replacements for each other. One feature request: the ability to take photos in-app to add to messages (as most messaging apps allow for) rather than having to open up a camera app, take a photo separately, and then append the photo to a message in Signal. Also, the audio on phone calls is frequently quite bad and cuts out... Otherwise, great app!
