"Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today."Sir Richard Branson
Our previous website calendar system consisted of our staff manually entering events when the public would email them to us. Even with copy/pasting each field, it would take up some time to process a lot of requests. Now, we can approve or deny events with the click of a button and the public takes the time to format the events themselves. This also allows for required fields so we don't receive events with missing information.
Localist brings together all the event management and marketing automation tools you need in one place. Our user-friendly platform makes all events (free and paid, online and in-person) more discoverable, by centralizing and automating all of your event and calendar assets. With extensive integrations and an API, Localist works with all of your existing tools. And, we centralize the event listings process with a streamlined workflow.
Overall: I like that we can email tickets into the system. I like that I can add custom fields with custom rules to force my people to use forms a specific way. I like that we can create project folders to track what we're working on. I like the new PM functionality. I like the Workflow Steps. I like the Portal plug-in for having customers submit and view tickets. In fact I like everything. Time tracking is very powerful for employee tracking and for R&D write offs. This is the best bang for the buck our company has got since acquiring the product in 2007. I dislike the lost dashboard functionality from converting to the Web. The reporting isn't nearly as powerful now in my opinion. Simple dashboards are great, but we used to have lots of additional widget types that I used. Releases/Projects. My users habitually put things in the wrong place. It requires me to go back and move things around all the time. The Portal works but it's not a nice fancy looking interface for our customers to interface with. We don't use the other integrations. This is a great tool for a QA manager who knows what they want. I have this configured so that my weekly management reports are saved views. I literally can using the Snipping Tool and cut out a screenshot for all my report needs.
Scrum software with project planning, help desk, and agile bug and incident tracking. Development teams can effortlessly manage their product backlogs, plan releases, and analyze their burndown velocity. Plan sprints easier with the Axosoft Release Planner, visualize progress with Card View, and release on time. Turn emails into support tickets, build unlimited Wiki pages for test cases and documentation, and create a custom portal for your customers to edit and add tickets
We looked at many different event software solutions before deciding on Localist. It's a great product, and the customer service is unparalleled.

I'm very familiar with Localist after having used it for a few years so I'm reluctant to change to a different email merge system but I do find it to be user-friendly and easy to introduce people to.
- Raymond R. Web Designer
In our particular application, there just isn't very much traffic. The idea of a dedicated event calendar can feel like too much when everyone already uses their own CRM or email lists to communicate about events. More flexible integrations would be a nice feature, like if Localist could pull in events automatically from third-party CRMs. Customizeable reminder messages and follow-up messaging would also add value.

Overall: The ability to track projects and track another users progress on their projects are very beneficial. Tracking different cards and being able to categorize them and prepare for releases saves a lot of time for the managers of the project. Understanding where other users are at in their section of a project lets other users know where they are in their own project and if they need to gather more resources for their part.

Pros: Product allows for a team to easily stay on task and update progress throughout the team. It not only allows for the project tracking but also defect/bug tracking. There is also the ability to make defects/tasks visible to the client and to allow the client to raise defects within the customer portal as well, making the product a central tool. The vendor is readily accessible and will run sessions and demos. Cons: The ability to track interdependencies was more manual and something the project manager or scrum manager needs to be aware and manage.
- Sandra B.
Overall: We are solving company wide project management. We use it to visualize where time is spent for each employee and to determine how long it takes for project to be complete. This gives us insight to plan better in the future by improving our estimates on how long things take.

|The solution is very flexible to our needs and the branding capabilities are impressive
|The ease of use and empowerment of users to submit events
|Localist is very easy to setup and administer and is a very powerful calendar platform to help manage and promote our many events on campus
|Administrators love the ease of setup, reporting and the configuration flexibility."
|The webinar on Channels was so confusing that it took me months to figure out what they were talking about
|Again, lots of learn-by-doing
|We also found an issue with users being able to create their own avatar, in some cases the avatar could be offensive and there is no way to easily "report" that to the calendar admins
|Support has been generally terrible
|Anything outside of the basic functionality is simply not supported and they have been unwilling to implement ANY requests that we've made
|On several occasions the answers provided by support have been blatantly wrong and only through our own channels have we been able to fix problems that the vendor created."
|I have found the reporting from Axosoft to be very strong
|The ability to export so much data to then manipulate in Excel or similar was fantastic
|Overall, I came into Axosoft as a user after it was set up
|I was responsible for transitioning the backlog from Axosoft to another product that I chose
|Axosoft is customizable and you can use it to follow the metrics you need
|The time-tracker is well developed and progress is updated in real-time."
|The reporting tools are a bit on the weak side
|I dislike the lost dashboard functionality from converting to the Web
|Occasionally the css seems to fail to load and the screen just one big mess and you have to restart the server to fix the issue."
