"Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today."

Most popular feedback for Localist

Our previous website calendar system consisted of our staff manually entering events when the public would email them to us. Even with copy/pasting each field, it would take up some time to process a lot of requests. Now, we can approve or deny events with the click of a button and the public takes the time to format the events themselves. This also allows for required fields so we don't receive events with missing information.

Better workflow for managing multiple inboxes What do you like best about Drag? I love that I can access both my personal email and business email in one location - it makes it much easier than having to toggle back and forth. It also helps me feel more connected to my team because accessing the inbox is just one button away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Drag? I wish we could use more sub-folders with the Drag feature. It was also a little difficult to install and get going on Drag, but after some time I am getting used to how it works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Drag: Consider using drag if you would like to increase your efficiency among your various professional roles that require multiple inboxes! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Drag solving and how is that benefiting you? Drag allows me personally to help my volunteer advocates quicker because I need to be able to see their call reports they submit for our hotline. It helps me communicate with 3rd parties more quickly if the people involved in my volunteer organization need help.

Localist reviews

We looked at many different event software solutions before deciding on Localist. It's a great product, and the customer service is unparalleled.

- Nicky E. Associate Director of Digital Media

I'm very familiar with Localist after having used it for a few years so I'm reluctant to change to a different email merge system but I do find it to be user-friendly and easy to introduce people to.

- Raymond R. Web Designer

In our particular application, there just isn't very much traffic. The idea of a dedicated event calendar can feel like too much when everyone already uses their own CRM or email lists to communicate about events. More flexible integrations would be a nice feature, like if Localist could pull in events automatically from third-party CRMs. Customizeable reminder messages and follow-up messaging would also add value.

DragApp reviews

"Fantastic Way to Organize Tasks" What do you like best about Drag? I like the ease of use. Simply drag and drop into whatever column to organize. My team uses it for help requests and as a platform to handle incoming requests to join our site. It has made the organization of incoming requests easier to handle and put it all in one unified space so everyone has access to work on requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Drag? When we get a bunch of requests or when the pileup over time, it would be nice to have some better search functionality. This way we would be able to look up historical data more easily in the future when working on-site improvements and data analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Drag solving and how is that benefiting you? How we were originally handling requests was through our individual emails, making it difficult to coordinate tasks. Drag allows for a unified space for all items to go through and creates an easy-to-use and well put together platform to handle what our team does daily.

"It's basically the holy grail for efficiently managing multiple inboxes." What do you like best about Drag? The "reply as" feature is a huge time saver if you manage several inboxes and typically find yourself loggin into and out of your accounts constantly. The Internal chat in each card really prevents miscommunication and is also nice for efficiency's sake; you don't have to leave your board and can really quickly work through your messages. I like that you can both label *and* color code your cards, because I like to be able to quickly see where things stand and colors really do the trick for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Drag? I wish there were a way to poke through emails without having to go back and mark them as "unread" for the team. It would be cool if there were a stealth mode, because sometimes I like to scan through things just to get an idea of where tomorrow stands without actually taking action. I guess that could get messy though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Drag: If you're overwhelmed by high volume inboxes that involve multiple stakeholders and you need a way to cut down on the back-and-forth, quickly assess where things stand, and prevent important things from falling through the cracks, don't hesitate -- Drag is your answer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Drag solving and how is that benefiting you? The biggest issue we're solving is managing workflows inside multiply-managed inboxes. Knowing that someone has taken action on a message and moved it to a different stage of the workflow w/ just a glance is huge and goes a long way toward eliminating redundancies and also keeping things from falling through the cracks. It's a life saver for accountability and efficiency.

"Review of Drag" What do you like best about Drag? I that we can collaborate in our personal email. It makes it easier not to have to log in to different emails. That's probably the best feature of Drag. I also think that the mobile version of the app is pretty good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Drag? I don't like that there are not any of the folders that we have in our email. Sure, there are boards, but not the folders to place our files in. If I could change anything, that's what I would do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Drag solving and how is that benefiting you? The problem that Drag is solving for our team is not having to do a multi-factor verification since the app is in our personal email boxes. I think that is a massive benefit for us.

Pros & cons

Localist

Pros
The solution is very flexible to our needs and the branding capabilities are impressive
The ease of use and empowerment of users to submit events
Localist is very easy to setup and administer and is a very powerful calendar platform to help manage and promote our many events on campus
Administrators love the ease of setup, reporting and the configuration flexibility."
Cons
The webinar on Channels was so confusing that it took me months to figure out what they were talking about
Again, lots of learn-by-doing
We also found an issue with users being able to create their own avatar, in some cases the avatar could be offensive and there is no way to easily "report" that to the calendar admins
Support has been generally terrible
Anything outside of the basic functionality is simply not supported and they have been unwilling to implement ANY requests that we've made
On several occasions the answers provided by support have been blatantly wrong and only through our own channels have we been able to fix problems that the vendor created."

DragApp

Pros
I love how well the product organizes my dashboard
I work with multiple clients, so it's nice to have all the emails that are associated with one account on one dashboard
I like the most the style like Trello and the possibility to use the extension like a CRM to help sales
The best feature of this app is the ability to place emails into specific to do lists
I like that I can have my emails in columns that define how I wish to deal with them."
Cons
Integrates with time tracking software Toggl Track
Offers both timeline and board views for managing work
Easy to Use
