Our previous website calendar system consisted of our staff manually entering events when the public would email them to us. Even with copy/pasting each field, it would take up some time to process a lot of requests. Now, we can approve or deny events with the click of a button and the public takes the time to format the events themselves. This also allows for required fields so we don't receive events with missing information.

I'm very familiar with Localist after having used it for a few years so I'm reluctant to change to a different email merge system but I do find it to be user-friendly and easy to introduce people to.

In our particular application, there just isn't very much traffic. The idea of a dedicated event calendar can feel like too much when everyone already uses their own CRM or email lists to communicate about events. More flexible integrations would be a nice feature, like if Localist could pull in events automatically from third-party CRMs. Customizeable reminder messages and follow-up messaging would also add value.

I give Hubstaff a five out of five. Before choosing Hubstaff, my staff was using Excel or reporting in via email. I could never see what they were doing. So I really needed a product that would let me track what they were doing and be able to see what they were doing so that our communication could be smoother. And then we could just, I could really trust what they were working on every day I chose Hubstaff because it was really easy to use. My VA's could log in via my LastPass account. they never had to see any information frOM me. I could screen capture what they were doing every 10 minutes. It also shows me how active they are, when they are active. And then it lets me just integrate payment right into the software. So everything was super easy. The thing that sold me was when I had questions, I immediately got answers from the team, and I knew that if I had any struggle that they would be there for me. It was super easy to onboard my staff. I mean, my staff are all tech people anyway, but they immediately knew how to use it. Sharing passwords was really easy. Setting it up was super easy, adding in more people as my business grew was super easy. It was simple. It was easy. It was direct. And again, if I needed any help, the team, the Hubstaff team was there. They always respond to my questions right in their chat. It was super easy. If you are considering Hubstaff and you're thinking, is this something I want to pay for? Is this something that I'm going to use? Am I going to waste my time? I promise you, the money that you spend on this software is completely worth your time, because you will stop worrying about overpaying people. Stop worrying about what they're doing. You'll be able to see everything. It's a way to communicate. It's a way to easily pay your people. You'll save so much time and energy. So worrying about the cost is a waste of your time. Buy it, use it, you get the help you need. And it's really easy for any team to use.

I would give Hubstaff a five star review. For more reviews like this, click the link below. Before Hubstaff, we used a couple of different software tools like PayPal and just Google Sheets and QuickBooks for our billing and accounting and it was too much of a hassle and nothing was automated, and there was a lot of things that were redundant that we had to do. And Hubstaff integrated it well together and was a easy payment service for our employees to while tracking time and everything. The reasons we chose Hubstaff was, it was the payment service was easily integrated into the hourly tracker and it logged and recorded and paid out our contractors and employees very efficiently and smoothly without me having to manually do a lot of the things. Hubstaff was relatively easy to get started. It took about, I would say a week or so to get onboarded and set up with all the different integrations and stuff. But after that, it was very simple and much easier than alternatives like QuickBooks or other integrations that worked with PayPal. It was far easier than those. If you are a small business that's bringing on multiple employees and you need a payroll provider and you need something that solves that solution with time and being put into it, Hubstaff lightweight solution.
