I was looking for a low-cost mail program that was very easy to learn and get up and running. The major issue was getting a zap to work, but once that was working, I was very happy with the result. Likewise, zaps for onsite forms. But the learning curve for actually USING it, and sending emails. Cost per email is very very low - I buy 10K at a time for $99 so one cent each. Pretty good pricing! Delivery is almost instantaneous, and it is fun to watch the responses roll in.

Use Case: was doing a deep dive into some non-activated trials to get an idea of what % were non-activated due to mistakes in email, intentionally wrong, or other.)
It's simple but there a lot of additional options, as well, that can be intimidating
The after-cleaning reports can be confusing
It takes some digging to figure out exactly how many contacts passed a cleaning and how many were blacklisted
It was a little difficult to manually change the data in my SQL
No automation for Joomla."

You get what you pay for
With their one time payment option you don't get much customer service and you'll need to maintain your own servers
Then thats where you find out the support is AWFUL, as it seems to me theres only 2 people that work there, they refuse to talk on phone, and despite promises when chased up, they don't answer emails
Reporting is limited, there aren't enough ways to compare and contrast
Very hard to export reports and data in bulk
Editing of template could be a bit more flexible
Difficult to understand layout schema."
