“Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today.“
Sir Richard Branson
I joined MeWe after the election as a Facebook Refugee. I’m a fiction author and invested a lot of money in FB ads to promote my books. While I gained followers, sales were just okay. I still have my FB Author account but deleted my personal account because of FBs lack of privacy practices. I created a new personal MeWe account. Most of my family and friends have stayed with FB. Unfortunately, the ick factor on MeWe is the same as any social media site, single men sending me contact requests. Geez, people, got to Tinder, creeps! There’s a learning curve to weeding this type of thing out, but so far I enjoy the newsfeed and groups I’ve joined. I paid for the membership but learning a whole new platform is confusing for someone my age. I noticed on this blog you have icons in the left sidebar linking to FB, Twitter, Pinterest, IN and Instagram but not to your MeWe page. Is there a reason for that? I was hoping to add a MeWe share link to my author website but haven’t figured out how to do it. Can you help with that or is it even possible? Thank you for your insight into the platform and keeping your review up to date. I look forward to your answer.
Teri GreenMeWe began in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a vision hatched over a dinner between good friends who were early founders of social media. With Facebook all the rage, they felt something critically human was getting lost: the spirit of our democracy and the backbone of our privacy. The big technology companies, you know who they are, had reverted to treating us as commodities. They somehow mistook people signing up to use their services as a welcome invitation to target, track, spy, and sell our information to advertisers and the government. All in all, it felt pretty creepy. MeWe founder, Mark Weinstein, dreamed of the next generation in online communications, envisioning a social and chat app that would give people everywhere the most exciting and helpful sharing technology with privacy built into the design - where members would feel safe and respected. Mark relocated to Mountain View, California, in the backyard of technology’s established Goliaths, and built a worldwide team of visionary individuals - fun, good people determined to revolutionize social media and build a new platform to go head-to-head with Facebook and restore decency, privacy, and respect for social media users. Mark created the Sgrouples beta project, hiring an engineering team to design and build the world’s first social network with privacy-by-design for its members. The 3-year Sgrouples beta project served as the testing platform for the launch of MeWe. Making its official launch during SXSW 2016 (South by Southwest), MeWe was honored as the 2016 Start-Up of the Year Finalist for “Innovative World Technology.” World-renowned thought leaders proudly serve on MeWe’s Advisory Board, including the inventor of the World Wide Web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee. MeWe is the visionary culmination of years of determined efforts, research, and development to provide people around the world with a communication network they love and trust.
Freehand is a great place for brainstorming, goal setting, and collaborating at the early stages of a project.
Paige CostelloInVision is the visual collaboration platform powering the world’s smartest companies. More than 7 million people across global enterprises and small teams come to us when they are looking to transform the way they work together. That include tens of thousands of organizations, including 100% of the Fortune 100. We exist to make every kind of work more collaborative, inclusive and impactful so that companies can get the most out of their most valuable asset: their people.
It's stable and reliable. Love how the Premium membership is only advertised once for the day and not constantly. People are afraid that all the conspiracy theorists might be here, but you control what you see, and who sees you, so it's not an issue. Needs lots more users. It's a replacement, for me. I sent them a suggestion about making the pages bordless. That little bit of cropping isn't necessary. Only reason I took a star.

Been on the app for a couple of months after dumping FB. Not too bad of an experience. App is fairly polished and runs well on a 2 year old phone. I'm not a big fan of the automatic notifications. You will get pinged every time someone in a group posts, messages, requests a contact, etc. You can shut all of this off however pretty easily. Overall, I'm pleased with the app and I still use just the free version.

Been on Mewe a few days now and I really like it. Using it has a pretty small learning curve because it's a lot like FB without all the ads, personal information theft, and data mining. Something I think that could use improvement is posting articles and stuff from other sites. Seems like a lot of times it just wants to post the link and not a headline or really anything to go with it. Not a dealbreaker though by any means. Great app!

"The best prototyping tool I have ever worked with." What do you like best about InVision? InVision is an excellent tool for developing user interfaces based on feedback, specifications, and collaboration. It allows me to communicate with my clients and coworkers in real time. I may also test how my app prototype works or will operate on my phone. The degree of detail that can be specified is truly limitless; we use InVision fairly frequently when revamping the user interface for website modernization projects, and what we enjoy about having this tool is that it is valuable to all members, whether they are designers, testers, or developers. Images are the most effective method to convey a concept, and this tool helps us to everyone be on the same page about the end aim. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about InVision? One disadvantage is that going between modes, demo mode to prototype mode, requires too many clicks. It would be fantastic to have a responsive UI option that automatically resizes/scales desktop layouts to match mobile view. The screen size of my app layout, as well as the navigation size of the link they provide me to check on my phone, are not optimal. It is not dependent on the size of my phone, yet I must design my app to fit the size of my phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering InVision: We strongly advise you to test it on your whole process, how your colleagues and clients will engage with it, and how InVision will integrate into your regular job. It's also an amazing experience in wireframing; the teamwork is flawless, and I haven't seen anything like it in any other program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you? The main issue we're addressing with this solution is that cross-functional team members can acquire the information they need to be successful in their respective tasks. I'm currently developing an application, and the benefits include saving time and effort as well as making my job easier; UX/UI designers can create prototypes, developers can find the exact specifications they need to follow, and testers can use those specifications to understand what they're testing. We can also display these prototypes to consumers early in the development phase and collect their opinion, allowing us to swiftly adjust the design depending on their feedback. Because the complete strategy has been spelled out, this tool has helped us eliminate confusion and limit the number of meetings we require.

"Collaboration and communication tool for creative design." What do you like best about InVision? I enjoy how easy it is to create hotspots using this tool, and I plan to transfer all of my ideas and drawings into InVision. It's also simple to add notes/comments to the screens I want to enhance, which helps me figure out what I'm doing wrong. I believe it is an excellent program that provides the materials required to develop a successful corporate image. It is superb program with all of the required resources. It inspires me to develop even more artistic ideas, which InVision makes so simple. It improves commercial opportunities by giving the company a more sleeker and modern look. Anything may be customized to meet your individual requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about InVision? Normally, InVision is extremely sluggish, and integrating other applications is nearly always problematic. There are also significant file upload difficulties. The interface features a graphical user interface, which is both annoying and difficult to manage. It is also quite sluggish the most of the time. Most of the applicants have issues with the choice to include them. It is also unable to upload very huge files. It's also a little annoying because it's harder to abuse. Concerning the prototypes, I just do not like the device's meager features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering InVision: The program is one of the finest for concept sharing. InVision has a lot of potential to create business outcomes. If you are uploading huge files, I recommend that you do so manually. InVision is unquestionably the best approach to deal in a variety of business industries. It's not as excellent as a drawing, and it's not as specialized. It is very straightforward to integrate, and the support crew is really helpful during the integration process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you? Now it appears like my clients sharing the logos are having a good time. I create high-tech templates to convey the merchandise's future to potential customers and stakeholders. This manner, I may escape the burden of having a finished project while starting a model in a short amount of time. With this program, we can also create a broad selection of very artistic designs. Sharing prototypes is now much more appealing to my clients. There were several benefits. InVision creates prototypes for users, managers, and other people of the company to exchange information. Furthermore, it is the sole approach for writing and final flows that our website and mobile developers employ.
