I have always loved working with Workbooks. All of their staff have never failed to be as helpful as they can be, and they are very quick to support us with any issues or queries that we may have. Their CRM package is very different to the kind of platform that a company like TDS would require but they have always helped us customize our databases so that we are able to support our products as best we can. The weaknesses we struggled through for the first 2 years really left it on the back burner as far as fully implementing and incorporating it further into our customer contact operations. Resorted to doing a lot of it manually. As a CRM, it was pleasantly functional until they jacked the prices up after the HomeAdvisor affiliation came in full-bore. Home Advisor's shortfalls are a whole other dissertation.

The automatic linking with HomeAdvisor worked well usually
When it did, sending out text message alerts for new leads was a nice feature
Useful helps us on a daily basis keep track of our estimates and appointments
It was extremely easy for our employees to use when they had issues that were IT related
Made it extremely easy to track all the open tickets of issues across the state
Being able to automate is a great feature for our business."

Not only is this the SLOWEST software I have ever come into contact with, they also have the worst customer support
Terrible Customer Service from the beginning
They entered all our information for us to get started and then it took months for us to get it the way it would work for us
Inventory does not sync well with Quick Books
Customer portal has lame search features for my customers
At times, there seems to be a delay in the connection."

The on-boarding was easy, and has stood the test of time
They will work with you to perfect the system to be exactly like you want it to be
The best thing I like about this product is that its an efficient and easy way to keep all your contacts and prospects in one database
It is also free to use for up to 2 users, which is fantastic value for a voluntary project or small business
It was so easy to convert over the data from our existing Works database into Workbooks."
Cons
Lack of built in lead allocation functionality
Automated lead allocation would required custom php code
There is very little that i dis-like about this software as any issues can be raised and put into development
We are using GatorMail via Workbooks, we have had a few teething problems in rolling out the change
This drives me crazy because I run off of 3 screens and have to sign into 3 different workbooks windows
Also the modification costs can get really high since not very many programmers know Workbooks."
