This digital mind mapping tool can be a versatile way for kids to organize their ideas -- that is, if they can figure out how to use it. MindNode – Mind Map has a clean interface. And if kids stick to the most basic functions, it's also relatively easy to use. As kids branch out and look to the various icons, menus and submenus to create more complex maps, things can get more complicated. The developers have lots of support, including a massive user guide, but not all kids will have the patience to learn all the nuances. The free version helps keep kids to the basic features since those are the only ones available. But that also keeps the maps quite simple, and limits the ways that kids can personalize their visuals. In general, for kids who want to use a mind map to guide brainstorming and organize thoughts, MindNode – Mind Map can be a good start though it may have a learning curve.

Functionality is extensive. While the UI is familiar, it also looks very dated for a newer app. Definitely needs a dark mode and the ability to customize the corkboard or an option to ditch it completely. Option to view notes in a list view in lieu of the corkboard would make the entire app professional-looking.

MultiNotes - Reminder Notes About this app's icon This is a universal information store, not just regular "Notes"! These Notes resemble the typical Post-It, but MultiNotes allows you to save much more than just brief notes. You can: - Directly take a photo or video from a note and store it in this specific application rather than the default Gallery. Any number of images or videos can be quickly accessed by attaching them to a note. - Record audio on the note and attach it as a voice recorder. - You can open any files and documents you attach to the note by clicking on the note itself. Everything can be stored in MultiNotes and is constantly accessible, so you won't need to search your smartphone's multiple programs for the information you need. You can use various "boards" and a variety of colors to publish notes on particular subjects. The text, pictures, or documents in a note can be locked with a password so that only you can access it. For the note, you can set a reminder, and your smartphone will sound an alarm at the appropriate time. You can mark items on lists you create. Make a list of your groceries, for instance, before you go shopping. After all, this is a very lovely and practical software with a "realistic" design! What's fresh: - You may now remove advertisements from the app for a little fee! - You can now store your notes to Google Drive to prevent losing them. - The capacity to send notes through other apps (e-mail, messengers, etc.) - Any note can now be added as a widget on your home screen. Essential productivity app MindNode has been my spatial planning tool of choice since Version 4. Now V6 has been released with some important updates, at no charge for recent V5 purchasers. One feature that I specifically requested is being able to edit multiple items on iPad like the Mac OS app. Thank you for listening and adding this feature. Of course I appreciate the free update; I’m also good with purchasing major upgrades when the time comes. Just keep doing what you do best. Here are a few quick comments about the product. It has been rock solid with a very uncluttered UI. Import / export modes simplify moving data between apps and quickly creating a complex mind map in MindNode. Theme chooser and outline view work great and stay out of the way until needed. Kudos Update: This is still an excellent app. There are a few features that would make it even better. First, the ability to copy and paste object styles. Second, the ability to assign horizontal and vertical layouts per level; I would like an org chart layout that is horizontal at the top and vertical below each branch for example.

Life Changing I have a way of doing things but this has introduced me to a new way of spatial mind mapping. I absolutely how clean the UI is and how I can add notes inside of nodes. Since I started school this is the only way I can take notes and clearly organize everything. I advise anybody wanting to try something new, to use this app and give it 100% effort. I will add just a few “personal” things I hope they add, these are just my own opinion and reflect no negativity to the app: More in depth note section and better way to add bullet points. MOREEEEE COLORS If the connections could “flow” better instead of some kind of boomerang looking line. Again this is just my personally opinion, this app is amazing and I know new users will love it! Keep up the amazing job!

I have been using this program since it was first introduced. Until now I have used it for every condition where I needed to relate unrelated things. As promised, I am rewriting my review since the app support people discovered that my problems are not caused by this app. I had begun using iCloud with all my MindNode documents. One document, in particular, I updated daily and frequently updated from different devices. My problem occurred because iCloud did not handle my more complex documents property. Worse than wrecking my document, iCloud is set up to delete any documents that iCloud does not control. So if I turn off iCloud from holding and updating my MindNode documents I cannot recover them to my local device (iPad or iPhone). There are tricks I could play to keep or recover a single document, but I have over 30 MindNode documents so that is impractical. The MindNode support staff were extremely helpful and emailed me with questions until they narrowed the problem to iCloud. From there they had no suggestions except to not keep my documents in the cloud. I will continue to use MindNode if or when I can get my documents back, but I won’t create new documents or update existing ones until iCloud is out of the picture. Solved my iCloud issue by emailing my MindNode documents to myself. Then turned iCloud off.

This is a great app that allows for many options for lists or color coding or other ways organizing your info. It has reminders/alarms that can override other apps on your phone (if you want them to), and it is super accessible for a quick note or detailed strategies. YES THIS iS A GREAT APP! The only downside so far is that sometimes the keyboard is in the way.

I like the post-it look, being able to see my notes at a glance. I can change the saturation & the size of the notes, & size of the fonts. I can work at a different app & when I switch back I'm right back to where I left off. Nothing irritates me more than lost work. If I forget to save a note & shut the app off, its there the next time I open it . & notes stay in the trash in case I change my mind. Still want an undo button. & to open two notes at once. & a version for my laptop!

works fine for the past 5 months I've had it. there's different colored notes plus different tabs and has a search button which is convenient. I would give 5 stars if widget fit better on my home screen: size of note to section is too small, takes up too much space for a small note. don't know how to change, if it is app related or phone settings. easy access all together.
