“Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today.“
Sir Richard Branson
Overall, it gets the job done although there is room for improvements to make the app feel smoother and more intuitive especially in the syncing department as the lesser time spent syncing or doing other miscellaneous tasks on an eBook reader, the more reading is being done. It is constantly being updated and worked on with the developers responding quickly to feedback and criticism directed at the app, which is a good sign and a reason for me to stick with the app for the coming updates as it is headed on the right path with the updates and patches being delivered. Even at its current state, it is easily a recommended choice, and if you’re a bookworm, there are no questions asked as it would be YOU missing out on Moon+ Reader, not the other way around.

It allows me to read my book in its weird file format. It's pretty annoying otherwise. The scroll format is obnoxious, no page option. There's no table of contents. It's impossible to click on settings button, to adjust things like font size- only found it once by accident. Every time you touch screen accidentally, it moves and looses your spot. Moves with volume adjust button, looses spot. Pop up ads, in the middle of reading, interfere w.utube music vids. Not a fan, only last option choice.

This is my favorite App in the world! MY favorite thing about Moon+Reader Pro is the Auto-read feature, because it removes my need for audio books. Sure, audio books have voice inflection & acting, but M+R Pro is free! My BIGGEST long time wish for the pitch & speed is: instead of using a slide type selector, use arrow buttons like used for Font Type. My second wish is for the pitch & speed settings to be moved somewhere else because I'm constantly having to fix them if I accidentally touch

The app is steller in almost every way To start with, the app allows all the functionality that would be expected. It allows you to import books from files on your phone, reads many file formats, and works like a charm. It allows you to change things like background colour and what motions you make to flip the page. It has many different features that while I don't take advantage of them (like taking notes) they are a must have for some. The advertisements are non intrusive 10/10

It does its fundamental job, to collect clippings from phone to Readwise cloud, but it's painful. Pro: 1. adds webpage clippings to my collection, unified across multiple devices. 2. OCR for clippings from paper sources. Con: 1. Doesn't collect & separate html-tagged metadata (eg, web page title). 2. Disables keyboard (moves cursor to end after every keystroke). 3. Review of collection on phone is just a long list, can't sort/filter.

Didn't appreciate that it got me to sign-up, add my highlights, and overall make me think that I was all done only to realize that it was only a 30-day trial and that I'll lose access unless I pay a monthly subscription. I bet it works at forcing people to just pay the 5 bucks/mo, but I just don't like that. I'm pretty sure it's because they know the price is steep for what you get, so they try to hide it. I just wanted to manage all my highlights in one place. Inflation is not that bad yet...

It's an okay highlighter. I want to highlight as I read and for the app to get right out of my way while I do. I'm busy reading! With that in mind, I prefer the chrome extension's "quick highlight". It's not useful for me to have a note called "passages saved from Android" where everything dumps. I don't want to be forced to write a title every time to avoid that. I need to highlight even more quickly, and for it to use the page name by default. I love how simple this is but keep going.
