I really love this app. The functionality is probably the best I’ve used. The word prediction is great and it’s very helpful to have both spelling and grammar correction. Functionality requests: Working in portrait mode only is a nuisance for users (like my 8 yr old dyslexic student) who use a wireless keyboard case to make the iPad function like a laptop. Also, there are several instances when limiting the word prediction options to 8 words is simply not enough.

About Ghotit Real Writer

Ghotit Real Writer is a text editor for people with dyslexia and dysgraphia that is more geared toward senior users than other apps on our list. I don't suggest it for new authors due to its difficulty. Nevertheless, it has a lot of helpful functions that are crammed into a user-friendly design, such text correction and word prediction. These features, notably the word prediction tool, are quite useful for older kids and adults. The software also has dictionaries for the English spoken in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Unfortunately, without an Internet connection, the program loses a lot of its functionality. Download Ghotit Real Writer from its website or the Apple App Store for iPads if you wish to give it a try. For the purpose of assisting dyslexics and/or dysgraphics in becoming independent in their writing and reading, Ghotit Software and Apps were created. We put people with dyslexia and dysgraphia at the center and assist them in overcoming their difficulties with reading and writing.
