onbase vs Kissflow Project

Within the Registrar's Office, we utilize OnBase and it's ability to use OCR functionality to capture information from students' transcripts for input into our student information system. This alone eliminates dozens of hours of manual labor each week. On top of that, it is a reliable, quick, enterprise imaging solution.

The interface is useful and expansive. The multiple panes allow the user to see everything that needs to be seen. The exporting options are effective and the PDF viewing option is really great as it allows for quick and easy printing download, etc. (At least while using Chrome as the browser - I haven't used it on any other browser.) The categorization for types of documents is also very helpful. It is easy to toggle between different documents within the same profile and this makes it easy for profiles that have a great number of documents.

"Useful Workflow management and approval process software" What do you like best about Kissflow? It allows us to layout our programs each month and approve them and recap efficiently. "Customization to meet requirements is a key factor" What do you like best about Kissflow? I had very good support from Kissflow when I was evaluating the product. The solutions engineer allowed me to work through my thought process and gave me extra time to test the product while I worked through flushing out the process with the key stakeholder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Kissflow? After a lot of time invested it became clear that I was using the wrong Kissflow product. That was frustrating. I find the software is limited in aspects of functionality that we needed and would have been helpful. Such as adding a hyperlink to a field and havig it be clickable. I found setting up integrations to be confusing and limited. Understanding how tasks fit into the system was confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Kissflow: The software is flexible but remember that there are different Kissflow software products. I started off thinking one product was the right one and found out weeks later that a different product was actually a better fit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Kissflow solving and how is that benefiting you? I was able to get a new business unit organized with software that they were as use and liked. While I'm not sure that we will keep this process in Kissflow ;"(since it's disconnected from other software processes ) it allowed me to get this project done with quality and a satisfied user.

It is an easy to design, deploy and use Business Process Management with low code. We have been able to digitize most of our business process using kissflow and our approval process have been faster thereby reducing our cost of running business.
