OpenKM is a platform that has matured over the years and has been able to update its look and feel while maintaining and incorporating features that are currently in demand, in addition to offering robust integrations for document flow management, and electronic signature, among others.
Pascual G.OpenKM is an open source Electronic Document and Records management system, designed to collaborate and manage documents and content at the enterprise level. It provides features to manage the complete life cycle of documents (classification tools, live edit, version control, communication tools) and implement business processes (automation, workflows, OCR, scanner client, digital signature). It has no technical barriers to connect with 3rd party apps and has modules to meet specific needs.
I like the fact that it allows clients to sign documents and contracts online on any device. So sometimes we have clients that come and they have their phones of course so they can just open the documents on their phones and sign right there. No need to sign up or subscribe to anything, is just simple and convenient both for us and for the client. I also like that we can put boxes and fields to be filled out by the signers. By this I'm referring to the the boxes where you can put initials for example, also the ones that says textified. Another thing that is practical is the signatures, the client doesn't have to manually sign anything, they can just click the box and Panda Doc will have a selection of signatures for them with their names.

We use the software to maintain bills received from our facilities over 2 states. We have to keep everything for at least 2 years before compacting and archiving with the ability to pull up documents on the fly. We currently have roughly 200,000 PDFs in OpenKM and the only lag comes from Adobe. We are running it on an in-house VM with very little resource usage and have had almost no problems.

Everything is one place, user-friendly, I love that you can save templates to repeatedly use, I love that you can choose which signer fills out a section, and I am OBSESSED with the reminder tool! You can set the reminder tool to remind them every day, week, etc. This has gotten clients to sign documents a lot quicker and I'm so grateful.
