OptinMonster is a cloud-based solution for lead generation and marketing automation which allows users to create and A/B test a range of custom opt-in forms. With OptinMonster, users can build a range of form types, including slide-ins, floating bars, inline forms, scroll boxes, lightbox popups, slide-ins, and more. The drag-and-drop form builder allows users to customize form branding, including messages, images, and colors, without requiring any coding. Built-in page-level targeting enables the display of unique campaigns or offers based on the location and behavior of visitors, allowing users to segment their email list based on subscribers’ interests and website interactions. Different form variations can be A/B tested to identify the version with the highest conversion rate, with users able to change the form headline, content, style, layout, and opt-in trigger. OptinMonster automatically replicates the existing opt-in form being tested for users to make changes to, then randomly serves up each variation to visitors and tracks impressions, conversions, and landing pages for each option. OptinMonster also includes Exit-Intent® Technology, which automatically tracks visitor behavior, identifies when they are about to navigate away from the site, and serves up targeted campaigns as they are about to leave. The system is designed to reduce cart abandonment and increase conversions. Campaigns can include invitations to chat with support agents, special offers or discounts, incentivised email list signups, and more.
We moved from HubSpot to SharpSpring primarily because of the price: HubSpot can be very expensive, particularly if you need to use the CRM and marketing capabilities. HubSpot is the market leader in usability and reporting (in my opinion) so we did notice a difference when moving to SharpSpring, but for 95% of the activities we undertake SharpSpring is at least as good as HubSpot and often better. The grouping of landing pages into funnels is one example of some great SharpSpring functionality that helps make your campaigns more effective.Mike M.

There are so many different ways to use the campaigns. It seems like they've thought of pretty much everything. They are always coming up with new features and new ways to support clients. They have excellent support documents and their team is some of the best I've ever worked with. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. The chat support is super convenient if I run into a quick question while trying to set something up.

If you're an e-commerce brand, Optinmonster is a must-have! It allows you to customize your website not just to your liking but based on what your users have or have not done. It integrates so easily into Klaviyo and allows you to build campaigns that continue to generate leads and sales. At first, I was hesitant to jump on board with SharpSpring as I have used the bulkier parent company software from Constant Contact and did not love... I thought this would be similar and I was already familiar with HubSpot's array of marketing automation applications; however, I was a little wrong! I still prefer HubSpot for larger, more profitable or sizable I guess I should say, companies. For my non-profit and social enterprise ventures, however, it is actually very much aligned to the effectiveness as the aforementioned competitor but for half the price. I like that I can get detailed analytics while setting up true smart content triggers for pre-existing materials in a way that makes sense and is strategic for my audience at the right time in the right way.

Started out fine until we realized that all the report data within SharpSpring was false. We understand that data accountability is an issue in the marketing automation industry as a whole, but SharpSpring is especially terrible at this. The fact that upper management in IT recognizes that email report data is different between what's in SharpSpring email reports, what's in SharpSpring Life Of The Lead, and what's in the exported email report excel list and subsequently admits that none of it is entirely correct is beyond me. The software is meant to provide genuinely insightful feedback to track user activity and potential conversions, however, the development team.
