Private Notebook vs iNotepad

Amazing app! Worked wonderful for nearly a year! Writing this review as a warning to fellow writers; it doesn't like it when you have more than 300 or so stories. Sorting breaks and it runs a little slow. Other than that, works lovely! I love the lack of character limit- one of the main problems I had with other apps- and the password lock is amazing. Will definitely keep using once I've managed to shove all of the stories I've already written into google docs.

This is app is almost exactly what I wanted: a lite-frills notepad, NOT a TrapperKeeper or scrapbook (data heavy; allow pix, web content, etc.) And no ads, to boot! The reminder feature is tricky, thanks in part to a 24hr clock design- the buttons are very close together on a phone. But my CHIEF COMPLAINT is that the app can't be stored on an SD card. I LOVE the elegant asthetic- a lite app can't have a ton of customization features, but this has just enough to make it pretty to look at.

Please add date formats and 12 hour time format. Date and time on every entry looks good. A little color customization is good but not needed. I would like my entries in little circular rectangular boxes, currently it looks bland. These daily notes should be always sorted be date and time by default, that's how most of the apps are. I like that you are keeping the app updated.

This application has organized my life. It is my database for everything from passwords to my favorite restaurants. Very gentle learning curve. Very versatile. I truly love it.

An OS X text editor which classifies your notes in folders and keeps them on your MaC iNotepad has most of the features of the OS X Text editor, classifies your notes into “folders”, and keeps you results on your Mac. Its features include: - The notes are kept the iNotepad database on your mac so that you can back your notes up. - Most of the features of the OS X editor including fonts, lists, and the like. - Notes can be classified into “tabs” (folder) to group notes into subjects - Notes are in RTF format - Notes can be exported to: RTF, RTFD, HTML, Web Archive, Microsoft Word, Open XML, and Open Document - Notes are be imported from the same sources - Notes can be copied iCloud by exporting it to an iCloud folder. I was looking for a text editor, because like many people, I wish Notepad++ existed for MacOS. So when I found this app, it looked promising. But it only supports the iNotepad file type and not plain text files. Oh well.
