RunMyJobs is the most reliable, dependable scheduling software we have ever used. What do you like best about Redwood Software? RunMyJobs is very flexible and once you set a job chain up it runs like clockwork. One of my favorite features is the custom calendars that allow you to run jobs only when you want them to. We implemented a new system last year and the business users had to run tasks manually. We were able to create some standard processes that could be used over and over with just different parameters to automate over 100 manual tasks which saved the users from having to work nights and weekends.

DotDigital has a drag-and-drop email builder and many good templates. Using automation, I was able to send out emails with ease. During the onboarding process, you will also be able to speak with real people. We use it to create modern and engaging emails for customers, whether abandoned cart or post-purchase. It has excellent reporting modules, but it lacks a few fundamentals, which can be frustrating. As a whole, the partnership has been a success so far.

"Best Automation tool for scheduling and monitoring jobs." What do you like best about Redwood Software? This tool helps us to schedule and monitor the jobs related to SAP modules like FI, MM, SD, HR etc. It also provides the cancellation, start, and restart of the process for the running jobs at the same time as per the business requirements. As per the monitoring perspective, we can easily track the status of the job and if any error is countered we can easily solve that issue by the given familiar functions. According to me, there is no dislike point or comment because redwood is already doing a great job in the automation tool sector. What problems is Redwood Software solving and how is that benefiting you? The best key point about redwood is that we can keep multiple module jobs in a single platform i.e. APPLICATION TAB. It is very familiar and easy to use for everyone whether it is an expert consultant or a fresher. In Redwood, we can easily check/track all the running jobs in the system at the same time if there is any failure/ error found we can resolve that with the help of their related SAP module functional member as well as also able to check the status of completed jobs on time.

"Web based Redwood software to manage processes" What do you like best about Redwood Software? Redwood's interface is user-friendly. Renewal of the redwood license can be done using the script by just copying text from the .text file from begin license to end license. We can set auto-refresh timing in redwood, which refreshes the current page as well as the job status during time interval. clicking on "I" button at the top right corner provides the information of the version we are using, online help through documentation as well as help support are the eye catching of redwood software. There might be some actions which we cant perform in redwood which is actually negotiable like performing some of the actions on jobs/objects is restricted due to security policy or the duplication of job definition/process is not possble. It is easy to edit the scheduled job, but should be careful in selecting edit the recurrance or edit the current process. we can add as many queue of our choice to distinguish the connection between different objects like we have HCM queue, GTG queue, CRM queues etc which makes life easier for redwood user. for Jsox audit purpose every month we retrive failed job report through xml file and also can download any report of our choice. Most important feature is we can download joblog.log file which contains data information of a particular job run wheather it is for completed or killed job. So it will be easy for functional team to analyse the issue and work on it.

"Redwood software fulfills top level management functions." What do you like best about Redwood Software? Redwood tool does organising, monitoring, controlling, and scheduling all jobs and activities. Redwood software holds the overall control of work performance. In Redwood, we can configure all types of functional application jobs like PI, FI, MFG, SC, BW, BODS etc. Redwood also contains documentation of each job and its history and statistics. where all of these are limited in some other automation tools. In redwood, we can run a job on an Adhoc basis or we can schedule a job for future dated runs. But we can't write a logic to run a job with past dates. Whenever we want to configure and schedule a job in redwood and its run should not happen currently or in future , we choose hold on submit which is an option to hold the jobs until all the parameters are entered properly and all user requirements are satisfied.

"Good platform but some niggles around pricing and set-up" What do you like best about Dotdigital? The platform itself is solid and well featured, with good deliverability, personalisation and scheduling options, management of contacts, segmentation, reporting, A/B testing and automation, SMS and web chat integration. Pricing is a niggle, as the number of live contacts at a basic paid account level is not as generous as most competitors. Testing on a range of clients and devices is chargeable for each send and the monthly fees are also steep compared to the competition. Additional functionality such as Web Insights is available in most plans, but you have to set it up yourself, it is not included as part of the on-boarding process. I have used it on e-commerce and lead generation sites and it performs well on both.

"Stand out Support Team" What do you like best about Dotdigital? I was completely blown away with the level of customer service through the chat function on the website. Great that it is actually a real person that you speak to! I came to DotDigtial from another platform so I had to hit the ground running with my learning - they were helpful every step of the way often going above and beyond to help. Hannah, our Customer Success Manager has been awesome too - coming over to our location to fully understand the business and give her input on what she thought were the best steps going forward. Hannah has been such a support and honestly (as cheesy as it sounds) I don't think I would have got so far, so quickly without her! I love all the Webinsight info that we have been able to link to our account so that we can fully understand and target our customer base. The analytics side of things is great and tells me everything I need. I like that DD is an all-round platform and allows me to add and take away additional services, for instance, chat and text. I would love the sharing on social to be a bit more updated and more user-friendly. I feel it is out of date and doesn't perform as well as it could. What do you dislike about Dotdigital? The data and analysis is severely lacking. For example, we use DD throughout the entire email campaign and registration process for our events through forms. Despite this, there is no source information, completion funnels or additional analysis offered. No customer journey analysis. The data is there! Why can't teams access it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Dotdigital solving and how is that benefiting you? Allowing our CRM to power our marketing. Through the integrations we have, our CRM is no longer a database the team have to log into, it is now where the team live. Without DotDigital, we wouldn't be able to have this mindset.

|Also not updating documentation when a new release makes the old documentation obsolete.AS400/iSeries has been a constant battle since inception, once an update fixes one thing, another seems to break within the AS400/iSeries space, and sometimes the fixes don't actually fix the issue
