"Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today."Sir Richard Branson
Scribens makes corrections to over 250 types of common spelling and grammar errors, such as typos and problems with nouns, pronouns, verbs, prepositions, punctuation, and homonyms, among other types of errors. A sophisticated syntactical recognition algorithm is used by Scribens to detect subtle errors within text. In addition to that, it recognizes stylistic elements like run-on sentences, repetitions, and redundancies, and it offers suggestions for synonyms for each word. The explanations that accompany online corrections are intended to assist users in developing their English writing skills. Word, sentence, and paragraph counts, in addition to a readability indicator, are just some of the detailed statistics that can be accessed through Scribens. The program also includes an integrated dictionary and thesaurus. It is compatible with fundamental applications in addition to a variety of web browsers and operating systems, such as Microsoft Word, Google Chrome, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, amongst others. The use of SSL encryption makes data transfers completely safe, and the text of transfers is never saved on the company's servers. The free version offers corrections, explanations, dictionaries, and a style checker, while the premium plan offers integrations, a text checker, and an ad-free platform in addition to the previously mentioned features. The free version of Scribens comes with a few restrictions, but the Premium plan has a low monthly fee that can be reduced even further if you pay for it quarterly or annually. However, there is no support for multiple languages, so it is only a checker for English grammar. Additionally, it does not include a check for plagiarism and does not offer any kind of customer support.
PerfectIt is essential for my business and the addition of the Chicago Manual of Style option is fabulous and will help me greatly in my editing business. Unfortunately, the Mac version is frustrating to use and still needs work. I've been frustrated by the need to run each check separately on book-length documents. Microsoft makes it impossible for me to report issues with PerfectIt because it asks me to send my documents to them. My clients' work is proprietary and that's not possible—a problem many editors have. I hope Intelligent Editing and Microsoft will continue to work to make PerfectIt Cloud for Mac better. More and more editors are using Macs and this is essential.
PerfectIt is another excellent proofreading program, this one was developed by Daniel Heuman in 2009 for use by editorial professionals. Because it is not designed for authors, but rather editors, it offers a one-of-a-kind offering to the specialized market that it serves. It was created with the goal of reducing the amount of time spent editing by as many people as possible. When using PerfectIt, you will come across the following: A checker for hyphenation; a checker for spelling inconsistencies; a checker for consistent formatting, including italics, brackets, quotes, the Oxford comma, and other elements; Compatible with a number of different style sheets. The following packages are open for signup: Individuals and Teams: $70 per person per year for 1 to 39 users; Enterprise: $25 per person per year for teams of 40 or more There is not a free version of PerfectIt; however, there is a free trial that lasts for 14 days, during which time you can try out the software without spending any money. Every feature can be accessed across the board, from the free trial all the way up to the premium plan. This application, which has been hailed as the "leading software among professional proofreaders and editors," can even enforce the rules outlined in the stylebook that you are currently employing. In addition to that, it finds instances of undefined abbreviations and works for the English spoken in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. If you want to improve your skills as a self-editor or even if you want to earn some money as a professional editor or proofreader, you should check out the free trial of this program and see if it has what you need.
It is the best free grammar checker keyboard for android, i really enjoy using this keyboard, its really helpful in chatting with others...
- Salma Khan
Honestly, If I get straight into this app then there is nothing special about this app then some features which we won't find in other keyboard apps. This app has a better keyboard than other, but the thing is, it does not worth its size. The size of this app is more than 200MB which make it quite worst, but I guess this app is better than other keyboards, not every, but in checking of grammar mistakes, it is god of other keyboards.
This is one of the apps that is saving a lot of my time. Great to have English in the last update! Thank you!
- Mykola Kostiuk
It saves you time, teaches you how to be a better writer, and improves the quality of your manuscript, and to me, that’s a perfect trifecta.
- Michael La Ronn, Author and Professional Speaker
The software is easy to use, and I appreciate the focus on consistency, which is my primary concern when editing.
- Lauren Holder Raab, Blue Pencil Editing
I regard PerfectIt as the most essential tool for all my editing work. It helps me make my work so much more accurate and consistent, and it's worth every cent.
