I feel like the search and find archive function still needs some work, I'm not sure what exactly but it doesn't' feel super intuitive. A part from that it serves a great purpose.

It is an online whiteboard that allows you to visually organize, group, and connect your ideas. As a result, you can see both the high-level overview and the details of your notes in one place. In Scrintal, unlike other mind maps, you can write and add as many images or media as you want, and connect each piece with backlinks.

One of the most convenient features of this tool is that it allows you to organize your notes in multiple ways. Although the program supports full-text search, the easiest way to find a given note is by using descriptive tags. And fortunately, tags can be organized as tree-like hierarchy, which certainly contributes to a better organization. More than just that, you can create autotag rules, for the notes to be tagged or moved between sections automatically when certain conditions are faced. Moreover, it’s also possible to edit batches of tags. CintaNotes also guarantees that your notes can be shared, exported, synchronized and backed up. The program is hotkey-responsive and runs from the system tray. It is suitable for every type of user because of its simple multilingual interface. But if you're still unsure, you may look up the user manual online. Your notes are kept by the application in database files referred to as "notebooks." Thankfully, you can make as many notebooks as you need and give each one a unique, meaningful name. If you think it's necessary, you can choose a unique password to safeguard each notebook.Additionally, notebooks can subsequently be split up into other sections. Additionally, material from other programs can be copied and pasted into notes, or the information can be manually entered. You can store content in your notes besides only texts. By adding connections to other notes as part of the text, you can even make a sort of web.

Scrintal has a good development team that listens to feedback and constantly improves Scrintal based on it. Otherwise, my favorite thing about Scrintal in general is its concept: combining the best of Roam (easy linking) and whiteboards or mind maps (visual thinking).

I enjoy using CintaNotes note taking manager already for several years! It is really simple and higly effective to use. Hotkey-driven note clipping makes it fast and effortless. Hierarchic tagging helps to build my knowledge base. Very quick and convenient search function and many more useful features. It Is Freemium, so there is a free version with restricted functionality available.
