"Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today."Sir Richard Branson
It has been great. But I have not been able to change the speed in the past few weeks, and the voice has is only the man's. I would change the speed to fast, but it would read at "normal". When I check the options, it's snapped back to normal.
A high-quality text-to-speech reader that can read large amounts of text with ease. Other text-to-speech extensions are bloated, slow, and frequently flaky—they can't read more than about 250 characters at a time without cutting out! Not to mention the dubious permissions they necessitate. Selection Reader is easy to use, fast, and can read a large amount of text at once. Simply select the text and right-click it!
I Love this App! This app is the best and most easy to use program I have found for reading text out loud. I use it for all my work in school. I love the option for changing the speed and for changing the voice of the reader. I only wish you could open two tabs at once and could change the speed it reads in the middle of it reading (instead of needing to stop the audio, change the speed, and restart from the begining). All that being said, still the best app I've come across for text to speech.

It works great, very helpful for long textbook readings. Though for some reason the reader will pause before moving on to the next line unless there a word is broken up. If it could get fixed, that would be perfect. If it doesn't that's okay too, I'll just work with it.

It's great, works like a charm and a good amount of options. No complaints, though it isn't perfect, nothing is.

perfect. audio quality is best of all the text to speech extensions.

Easy to use This program is easy to use and works for my needs. I like that they do not collect my data as well! I didn't give it a 5 star just because it sounds very automated and some words are pronounced wrong, but I'm satisfied and will continue using this program
Convienent And Simple This is the type of thing you would hope was already on your computer but at least it was free. While it could be more fancy and allow more options, this text to speech program is more than sufficient for my purposes. Turning text to audio and making those files easily accessable while still being free. Forces a review but I think the agressiveness is what put it near the top of the search options for me to find... I endorse this app regardless.
