“Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today.“

I Love this App! This app is the best and most easy to use program I have found for reading text out loud. I use it for all my work in school. I love the option for changing the speed and for changing the voice of the reader. I only wish you could open two tabs at once and could change the speed it reads in the middle of it reading (instead of needing to stop the audio, change the speed, and restart from the begining). All that being said, still the best app I've come across for text to speech.

See how Speechify compares with SpeakLineSpeech Assistant is very ergonomic and includes many well-thought-out accessibility parameters, more so than some other more expensive apps. It is possible to adjust it to the specific needs of many users, for the visual presentation (font size, number of cells per page, colors, side of the screen to display action buttons) as well as for the numerous and well-conceived options (button functions to be displayed, function selection for many action buttons). The size and accessibility of action buttons is a major plus for this application. When my patients try this app, they find it simple and efficient to use. In my experience, this is the most essential aspect that determines if they are going to use AAC in the long run or not.

I didn't give it a 5 star just because it sounds very automated and some words are pronounced wrong, but I'm satisfied and will continue using this program

Convienent And Simple This is the type of thing you would hope was already on your computer but at least it was free. While it could be more fancy and allow more options, this text to speech program is more than sufficient for my purposes. Turning text to audio and making those files easily accessable while still being free. Forces a review but I think the agressiveness is what put it near the top of the search options for me to find... I endorse this app regardless.

This app is unique and well worth purchase to get backup and restore option. Great app especially for tablet. Larger keyboard makes composing easy. Backup option makes it easy to transfer changes between devices with email and restore function. I have app on phone and tablet. I noticed speech loss when using 4.2 Bluetooth devices. Thanks to email exchange with developer, we found that using Bluetooth 5 speakers stopped loss and all words and phrases are spoken. Thanks Ton

Great app. Have a week or so of vocal rest and liked the app enough to pay to upgrade. Couple of things tho: I have noticed it sort of supports SSML.. a lot of the google TTS SSML doesn't work. Do you have a list of things supported? Could you add SSML features (pauses and emphasis) into the app interface to be able to make phrases sound less robotic and more natural? Could you add some hot buttons for MP3 sound bites? I like the "Notification" option.. but being able to add a bunch of easily playable sound bites would be perfect. The app is almost there... these things would flesh it out some more. Great job, guys! PS: one other thing.. love that I can edit on the computer and restore the file! PPS: How about a backup option for *all* the settings in the app?

Fantastic This app has been a huge help to me after I permanently lost my ability to speak in January. It is very user friendly and easy to personalize. I really like the feature where the text can be shown in large print. I had used a similar app that allowed me to use my own pre-recorded voice, but I ended up coming back to Speech Assistant AAC due to its ease of use. This is the best app I have ever used! It has truly been a blessing.
