“Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today.“

I Love this App! This app is the best and most easy to use program I have found for reading text out loud. I use it for all my work in school. I love the option for changing the speed and for changing the voice of the reader. I only wish you could open two tabs at once and could change the speed it reads in the middle of it reading (instead of needing to stop the audio, change the speed, and restart from the begining). All that being said, still the best app I've come across for text to speech.
Madyson MArySpeakLine was created for Mac users who want to easily convert text to speech. Select a voice profile, type or paste the sections you want SpeakLine to read for you, and click the Start Reading button in the bottom-left corner of the main screen are all that are required. If you want to make a video tutorial for the software you built but don't want to use your own voice to demonstrate how to use your utility, this kind of program can be useful. There are many various voice profiles to select from, and you may change the reciting speed (words per minute) and sound volume as needed. You can export the audio content to your local directory if you're satisfied with the results. Unfortunately, the program only accepts AIFF as an output format. Not supported are other well-known audio formats as MP3, WAV, or OGG. Nothing else can be said about SpeakLine than that. It only carries out the developer's stated objectives and nothing more. So, you should absolutely try out this free program if you ever need a text-to-speech tool for your Mac. Your Mac will read some text aloud once you type it and choose a voice. Enjoy reading writings written in your native tongue or giving them amusing voices. With a single mouse click, a simple utility converts any text to an audio file. You can type or paste your text fragments into SpeakLine's left panel, and the Voices panel will assist you select the reading voice. You can examine all saved texts, organize them in either ascending or descending order, and add or remove entries from the Saved Texts slide sheet. The generated audio file can be heard in a preview mode at the volume level you specify. With a few mouse clicks, you may export the audio version of your work directly from SpeakLine. SpeakLine can read your text using the system voices or one of the entertaining voices offered by your version of macOS. Simply open SpeakLine's Export menu, choose the "..As Audio File" option, give your file a name, and specify the destination location to accomplish this. See how Speechify compares with SpeakLineI am an author, I use this to listen to my books to help with editing. It is a VERY natural voice reading with lots of options of language, gender, etc. One of the things this software does that others like it does not is the word count. I usually have to break my stories in 20 different sections to import, but I can literally just copy and paste the whole thing into the "Tales", HUGE time saver. The personal email box to send it tales, personal podcast link, and so much more make this product feel very mature

There are four alternatives to TAYL, not only websites but also apps for a variety of platforms, including Opera, SaaS, Windows and Firefox. The best alternative is Narro.co, which is free. Other great sites and apps similar to TAYL are Read2Me, Intelligent Speaker and ReadCast. TAYL alternatives are mainly Text to Speech Services but may also be News Readers. See how Speechify compares with TAYLEasy to use This program is easy to use and works for my needs. I like that they do not collect my data as well! I didn't give it a 5 star just because it sounds very automated and some words are pronounced wrong, but I'm satisfied and will continue using this program

Convienent And Simple This is the type of thing you would hope was already on your computer but at least it was free. While it could be more fancy and allow more options, this text to speech program is more than sufficient for my purposes. Turning text to audio and making those files easily accessable while still being free. Forces a review but I think the agressiveness is what put it near the top of the search options for me to find... I endorse this app regardless.
