Storybird vs OmmWriter

Storybird offers a very intuitive interface that allows for a professional finish with impressive graphics. But the point is that this can be achieved without too much thought about the tech side of things, allowing for a focus on creativity and originality. From guides on how to write a prompt, to writing a killer hook, there are lots of ways to work directly on creative writing improvement.

Design: Light and fun best describe StoryBird. Given the target demographic, this is a plus. After logging on, users are only one click away from reading their first StoryBird. The homepage is dominated by a selection of the most recently published stories and offers easy navigation to the sign-up page. All of the StoryBirds are easily navigated. A simple click command turns the pages, making them suitable for younger children to read on their own. Review: The content here is all great—if you’re a young a child. Keep in mind that this is a tool, rather than something aimed at teachers. Lessons run the gamut from what to do when faced with a bully, to how things would be if everyone cared. There are also non-lesson-based stories available for pure enjoyment. All of the StoryBirds are nicely illustrated and beautiful to look at. Their content is very age-specific, but would be very well received by that demographic.

I have tried several writing software and apps, including Microsoft Word which has a "focus" mode, but Omm Writer has been the program that I keep going back to. I even have it permanently added to my ribbon on my Mac so that I can easily pull it up whenever I have to focus and write an important email, draft an academic assignment, or even experiment with a creative writing project. The features are simple and are ones that you will actually use, like adjusting the background image and sound. There aren't any frills that make it difficult to master or distracting.

I gave Ommwriter a try because I was trying to focus on writing for a project, the idea is cool, a focused editor with a nice layout and interface and the background music you need to get some work done while staying focused.

I really like the application because it presents a good interface between the computer and the user since it opens in full screen mode and also this app has a natural environment where one can relax and write in a fluid and effective way because of the concentration that It generates, free of distractions so as I personally love writing this does not distract me and find a direct connection between what I am thinking and writing and at the same time this is more efficient and makes the writing flow, for your funds to put a mind in which is only concentrated on the writing and the sounds generated by the application.
