"Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today."

Most popular feedback for StretchPaper

This app is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I need to draw mind maps for med school, but I’m always limited by the canvas size on all the other note-taking and drawing apps. I really wanted infinite space to flesh out my ideas and just get words on paper without limits and this neat, simple little app lets me do that. I was also pleasantly surprised by the pen flow! Most expensive note-taking and drawing apps don’t have pen flow as smooth as Stretchpaper does, which is impressive given its low price. Three bucks? My daily latte costs more and does way less, delicious as it may be. Thanks to the developers for making a great app!

Most popular feedback for Walling

The Walling App is, no doubt, unique and creative. But due to its advanced features, it might be complicated for some. People who work with other project management tools will find it difficult to learn everything. If you give it 2-4 days, it can be both a good productivity tool and a project manager.

About Walling

Walling can help you work more efficiently. A hierarchy of concepts, linkages, and charting is provided by Walls, Sections, and Bricks. This aids in the planning and organization of your ideas and tasks. A Wall lets you keep track of and hone your ideas whether you're planning a project, doing research, or writing an article. The actions you can take are visually represented in the sidebar. You can refer to that wall when you start the actual task. Walling can be used by non-technical people as well as designers, developers, project managers, writers, and other occupations. Walling is divided into various components, including the Daily Desk, Walls, Sections, Bricks, Tags, and smaller components within of them. However, everything may be altered, making it versatile in use. The Qualities That Make It Special 1. A Wall Sections and Walls in Walling. You design a Wall as soon as you get on Walling. You may graphically organize all of your chores and projects on a wall. Walls are segmented into parts. It enables you to organize and contribute content for your project. You can concentrate just on one thing—getting all ideas and tasks off your mind—by erecting a new Wall. Then, you can arrange your stuff in whatever way you wish according to what you need and don't require. The wall functions as a sizable ecosystem that houses all of your thoughts (Sections and Bricks). Section View in Walling You may simply go from planning to managing and organizing your thoughts and responsibilities by using several views of each wall area. This aids in keeping you aware of the context of the work you're performing. 2. Bricks Use the Walling brick function. Bricks are used to divide the Sections. Each brick is a tiny document that can be filled with anything. Images, videos, checklists, bulleted lists, documents, and links that are pertinent to the concept or work at hand as well as the entire project may be included. Add a fresh brick to the wall. A new card is added to your wall when you click the plus sign. It is known as a brick and has a title and text area. You can add photos, files, links, ordered lists, checklists, lists, horizontal lines, code blocks, citation blocks, and images to Walls by clicking the addition button at the bottom of each brick. You'll find typical texts, titles, checklists, and lists to the left of the + sign to make adding them simpler. Bricks can be moved about by dragging and dropping them. 3. Weekly Desk Walling's Daily Desk app. Walls are not the only ones who wall. For those unplanned thoughts or insights you wish to look into and expand later, The Daily Desk is perfect. It resembles a wall. The bricks can be filled with anything you choose, including your ideas. You can access all of your ideas by using the navigation arrows next to the date. 4. Tags Bricks can be altered by adding tags. You can filter and see Bricks by tags in the Wizard menu in addition to adding them to Daily Desk. A tag enables the connection of two or more bricks. In other words, a shared concept (Tag) can link two or more concepts (Bricks). For instance, you may list out and manage Bricks that contain both "Blog Post" and "Back Links" tags by using the Wizard menu. 5. Reminders and Search Walling's search function Using search, you may locate every brick you added to your walls or workstation. The global fast search makes it simple to find your thoughts and notes. Feature on Walling that reminds Reminders help you meet deadlines. Every time you add a task brick to your daily desk or an idea to your project wall, you can receive a push notice. 6. Real-Time Chat and a Wall for Export a Wall in Walling is exported Your content is never locked by walling. A wall can be exported in Markdown, PDF, or HTML. On each wall, there is a live conversation panel as well. This might be the spot for you to post comments or notes for yourself or to address problems with your team. Is Walling Effective? Without a doubt, the Walling App is original and inventive. However, some people might find it difficult due to its sophisticated features. It will be challenging for people who use other project management solutions to learn everything. If you give it 2-4 days, it can serve as a project manager as well as a useful productivity tool.

StretchPaper reviews

Love this app! Use it when I’m planning out stuff in my business. One drawback for me has been when the file becomes too large it takes a long time to load. Running an iPad Pro so the device shouldn’t be the issue. Still use it, just try not to let the it get too big.

This seemed like a great app purchase, but unfortunately the app itself is a exercise in frustration. While an infinitely scalable sketch pad is an amazing concept— one I desperately need for my iPad Pro— this app misses the mark in several ways. First, it ditches the intuitive control and ease of the Apple Pencil for its own drawing UI and response curve. Second, the scaling is maddeningly frustrating as line thickness is impossible to keep consistent as one must invariably zoom when scrolling around the document. (A Zoom Lock feature would seem like a no brainer) What is more, settings such as line thickness and color are basically random as to whether they will stay applied one you select them. I often found myself switching without warning from a blue line to a green line and back without any logical reason. Third, the individual controls lack harmonious integration with Apple simplicity; while other apps allow for a simple tap on/tap off of individual tools, this app leaves a tools always on unless you specifically select a different tool (and even then that no guarantee the switch will take). Add to all this the lack of an easily accessible user guide, a lack of a straight edge (seriously?) and a steep learning curve I cannot in god conscience recommend this app to anyone. A frustrating waste of $3.

App is amazing. It is straight forward and easy to use. Love the infinite canvas as that is what i was looking for. I found a few other apps that have infinite canvas but they all lack ease of use and simple tasks that are imperative for taking notes. So far great app. SIDE NOTE: I am having an issue with a bug. For some strange reason sometimes the notes shift slightly and what was once fully highlighted in a certain color or pointed to with a line for a label tends to be offset. So in other words something is causing notes/coloring/labels to shift just slightly. This can be annoying and can cause issues especially with labeling and highlighting. Can the developer take a look? From what I can tell, it happens when i reopen notes after some time. I do move the screen a lot using my fingers but apparently haven’t been able to pinpoint it. Please do check this out.

Walling reviews

I use many tools to help structure my thinking from checklists, to note taking apps, to mind maps, and digital whiteboards. Walling is my go to app to get all thoughts out of my mind in an uncluttered and visually appealing way. It’s the easiest way for me to iterate on complex subject matter across all device types and form factors. I never stop thinking and Walling’s ubiquity allows me to capture stream of consciousness thoughts at any time on my iPhone, iPad, Mac, and PC. I find the Chrome web clipper extremely valuable as well. Once you’re ready and if appropriate for your workflow, Walling allows you to easily copy/move your content into other apps such as Google Docs for longer form presentation and narrative development. Lastly, Walling’s founder, Elmasry, listens to his end-user community, engages with them, and empathizes when prioritizing feature requests. Highly recommended founder and app.

I just started using the app and I love it. I can easily create a compelling visual workspace for my design work. One thing I noticed is that the text formatting doesn’t translate perfectly between mobile and desktop. Why is there no H2 option on mobile? It’s a great feature on the desktop version that makes the visual hierarchy easier to read. When I look at the same wall on my phone, all headings are the same size and it no longer looks neatly organized. Also, line breaks don’t seem to show up on my phone, I used a line break in a paragraph I made in one of my blocks on my laptop, but on my phone the text is just crunched together on one line. Really like the app and hope to see further improvements.

Walling is a flexible organizational tool that helps you organize information using a brick and wall metaphor. It also has a unique tagging feature that lets you see connections between bricks from a top down perspective while the brick and wall building supports a bottom-up approach. It takes only 10 minutes to get the hang of it and you’ll be able to start building your second brain.
