Creating custom data sources with custom-defined actions allows for rapid use by teams while maintaining governance. Human-in-the-loop automation is a crucial feature for us in the regulated industry in which we participate. Tonkean's focus on this as such a foundational part of their identity is excellent. The time to market has also enabled faster delivery of new products/services to market which under COVID has been tremendous. The real power here, I think, is the clear enablement of citizen developed automations.

It has a low learning curve, and requirements of different process automation phases can be reached in a single module what can be handy if you have small automation teams.

Tonkean allows our operations team to drive forward efficiency or processes improvements without needing engineering to get involved. Automation capabilities allow better coordination across our teams and keep the right people involved at every step. The flexibility of the Tonkean platform is perfect for a quicky growing company. The tool has many integrations built out already, but the team is also incredibly responsive to adding new tools when needed.

"Orchestrate your processes in an elegant way with Bonita BPM" What do you like best about Bonita? It is an orchestrator of open source processes, quite good is a pretty elegant solution that allows you to define the processes within your company, you can define human tasks and automated tasks within your processes and allows you to design the flow of your application, it is based In java groove what makes it quite versatile, it has integrated tools such as bootstrap to diagram and build the necessary interfaces to bring the process to life. At first the interface tends to be confusing, it has many options that at first are not locatable and intuitive within its interface, this tends to delay a bit the learning curve since it is a bit difficult to understand in principle for developers. The part of the frontend is a bit basic, of course it is a tool that is based much more on the orchestration of processes within an organization but for the front-end programmers the tools of construction of the interfaces can give a lot to be desired.
