I'm able to create content that'll be able to compete on the first page of the SERPs. Previously, I used to write content blind using what I thought were SEO best practices. Topic takes a data-driven approach to helping me actually achieve that (without the guesswork). That way, my team can spend more time writing quality prose. I love how it saves me time in creating SEO-optimized outlines and content, especially for longer-form articles. I probably save about 3 hours on average with each Topic report versus if I pulled the insights manually. My team works through dozens of articles each week too, so we save hundreds of hours each month. The tool is can be slow at times or unresponsive when I load new content to grade. But that doesn't happen very often so it's a minor issue.

About Topic

Topic is a tool for improving the performance of web content such as blogs, articles, or any subject matter appearing online that the user wants to rank. Topic is an SEO content optimization tool and an AI writing assistant. Marketing teams and agencies use Topic to improve the performance of web content. Topic is a tool that assists writers in producing comprehensive content. It is supported by artificial intelligence and natural language processing (NLP) technology. It does an analysis of the top results in Google, extracts key topics that should be covered, and supports the creation of guidance tools such as content briefs, templates, and outlines. These tools provide writers with actionable suggestions that enable them to create content that drives results, and they also include a drag-and-drop outline builder. Additionally, Topic offers authors a user-friendly and interactive editor that not only grades their work but also provides feedback and suggestions. Content creators can find and fill in content gaps to capture long-tail search traffic with the assistance of Topic. Content can also be integrated to match the highest performing pieces of content. The provider claims that after optimizing a piece of content with Topic, some users have seen an increase of 540 clicks per month in organic search traffic as a result of their efforts. The purpose of displaying what questions the next piece should answer on Topic's content briefs is to provide writers with direction regarding what subjects they should write about next. With its Content Grader, it is possible for the writer to see what aspects of the current draft are lacking. The artificial intelligence tool can be obtained through a subscription directly from the vendor; alternatively, it can be obtained as a plugin through the Google Workspace Marketplace or as a plugin for Wordpress.org's Gutenberg editor. To get started, Topic presently provides a trial period of 7 days for $7. (3 content briefs). Additionally, there is an affiliate program at Topic that is based on referrals.

About scapple

The same firm that made Scrivener, Literature and Latte, also made Scapple. You create your stuff in Scapple, then you compose it in Scrivener. Scapple is a straightforward but practical tool that resembles the mind-mapping method of brainstorming. Here, you should outline your main idea—which is typically broad—and begin tying related concepts to it. In the past, writers would accomplish this on paper and with a pencil. Scapple made the decision to digitize this way of thinking in order to make it simpler, more readily available, and even more effective. The number of possible mind maps in Scapple is infinite. You may infinitely enlarge your "paper" or document by zooming out. Zooming in closer to a section you need Scapple and Scrivener work together seamlessly. To add your mind map to a Scrivener project, you don't even need to export it. You can just drag the mindmap from Scapple into Scrivener if both programs are active. Scapple is your best option if you want to speed up and systematize the idea-generation process.

Topic reviews

When we found Topic we were looking to generate content outlines that we can hand off to our writers. Since implementing Topic into our workflow, we are creating outlines at a much faster pace. The GPT-3 integration that Topic offers helps us to come up with titles/ descriptions and outline ideas in no time. I've used the content optimization part sparingly until now. One of our top converting pieces (bringing dozens of subs per month), sadly sank to 10-11th from top 3. After optimizing it with Topic, in about a week we got back to top 3/4. So it proves that there's real merit to Topic's content optimizer. I love their simple UI interface. A lot of other tools I tested usually overwhelm the users by showing a lot of data and with their complicated workflows. With Topic, they show you just the right amount of information required to accomplish the task.

Topic ensures you are aware of all relevant keywords as you write or optimize your article and provides resources to make sure the writer understands context. We have been using Topic for two months now and have witnessed ranking increases on all optimized content. The niches we work in are volatile and rankings change frequently so we cannot provide detailed metrics on ranking improvements e.g. 15% ranking improvement for example.

If you need to create a blog outline, this tool is a must-have! Topic has saved me so many hours of manual work by automating content and keyword research. Write better content - I have a better understanding of the competition and the audience goal for blog topics. Creating Blog Outline - Instead of spending hours of manual research to create a blog outline, Topic automates the process by creating an outline to hand off to writers.

Scapple delivers a simple and very user-friendly mind mapping solution that lets you scribble your thoughts on a virtual notepad whenever you have your musings at three in the morning. With Scapple, you can write down your thoughts and musings and come back at a later time to see how you can bridge one idea to another and make progress. You can organize your thoughts easily and effortlessly, thanks to Scapple’s drag and drop user interface. You have the freedom to work with your ideas and find the links and angles and the approaches that would turn your idea into that award-winning essay or the next chart topper or the future New York Time’s bestselling novel. Back in the old days, authors and writers wrote down their thoughts and ideas on a piece of paper that they could lose any time. With Scapple, whenever that figurative lamp lights up above your head, you are able to save that thought and not worry about losing it forever.
