"Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today."Sir Richard Branson
A fellow pupil is my F block sports and entertainment marketing class recommended this to me and I couldn’t be happier. I CANT STOP SCROLLING!! I can’t describe my agonizing addiction to this app in words, only sounds in which my family is beginning to get concerned for my mental health. MY LOVE FOR THESE WORDS IS INDESCRIBABLY POWERFUL. I genuinely think I’d end it all if I didn’t get the chance to use this app again. I’ve sent hundreds of messages to all of my friends telling them to get the vocabulary app…I got blocked. I’ve lost so many friends and family on this fierce journey but it’s all worth it once I get that notification of a new word bright and early at 3:00 am. If I am being honest I haven’t been sleeping at all because the adrenaline rush of an anticipated word shoots throughout my body HAHAHAHAHAHAH thousands of hours of my life wasted on this app. I miss my family. I miss my house. I’m living under a bridge mindlessly scrolling until I pass out and I can’t take it anymore. Beware of this app, it will change you…❌
Make it a habit to learn new words on a regular basis if you want to enhance and extend your vocabulary, whether it be for school or for your own personal development; this is the single most important thing you can do to accomplish this goal. Why put yourself to the trouble of growing not only your vocabulary but also your knowledge? Others will have an easier time understanding what you are saying, and both the perception and the fact that you are an intelligent person will increase as a result of your improved ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Increasing one's vocabulary is also a joyful interest that may even be shared with the people in one's surrounding vicinity, making it a perfect pastime activity.
It not only allows you to digitize the texts written on paper, but also the notes that the teacher makes on the classroom blackboard. It offers the possibility to add photos from the gallery of the tablet or mobile phone and supports writing in more than 50 languages. After scanning the text, the user can share it by email, upload it to the cloud, or copy it to the clipboard which is exclusive for Android devices.
The first handwriting to text OCR app is Pen to Print, which transforms scanned handwritten notes into digital text that can be edited, searched, and stored on any digital device. Use this one-of-a-kind OCR scanner to scan, read, and convert handwritten documents into editable, searchable, and archivable digital text that can be stored on any device or cloud service. Our handwriting recognition engine can now scan handwritten notes, such as letters, school notes, diaries, meeting minutes, grocery lists, recipes, etc., and transform them into text that can be used on any digital platform. Our proprietary handwriting OCR technology extracts handwritten content from scanned paper documents and converts it into editable digital text. It is intended particularly to recognize handwriting, in contrast to other OCR scanning programs. To edit your writing, save it to files, copy it, email it (to yourself or to others), add it to Notes, or share it via chat apps on your device, upgrade to the premium plan. Use your text after that in any word processor, such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or a comparable program, or export it to a note-keeping tool, such as Evernote, OneNote, Google Keep, or a comparable program. We advise using the app's free handwriting recognition feature first, and only paying for a premium plan once you've seen the caliber of the handwriting-to-text conversions it produces. Despite the fact that digital text is simpler to modify, search, and store, handwriting on paper is still widely utilized since it is quick, simple, and available. For those who still prefer the feel of a pen on paper but yet want to take use of digital features, Pen to Print's handwriting recognition (OCR) is an excellent option. It is quick, quick, and inexpensive to use. An ideal solution for students in high school, college, or university who need study notes, class notes, and homework. Excellent for exchanging handwritten papers with several participants, such as meeting minutes and protocols. a device that can save secretaries and paralegals hours of typing. well suited for document organization and archiving. Please take note that the quality of your scan directly affects how well the handwriting recognition works. To achieve the best results, scan your work in a well-lit environment, with the paper upright and not folded or crooked. Simply try scanning again if the first attempt fails; it just might make all the difference. Only Latin script is supported by the app right now. Block letters, cursive, and regular script can all be converted to text using our handwriting recognition algorithm. This program took a lot of time and work to develop in order to offer a high-quality handwriting to text OCR tool. We sincerely hope you benefit from and enjoy using our software. This is such a cool little app to help motivate you to expand your vocabulary. I encourage everyone to try it. You can pick from 3 levels of words, set a daily (more or less often) reminders, and it also has a function that gives the correct pronunciation of each word. I find it fun to try and use at least one of the words at some point throughout my day. It's a very easy to use and customize app. Give it a try and see if you can use a formally unknown word in your vocabulary for the day!

Yes! Finally! A daily vocab app with a widget! I love not having to open the app just to see a new word! Way better than the competition! I have 3 suggestions plz consider: 1) it would be awesome if the pronunciation was provided in text in the description, b4 the definition. Like in dictionaries. 2) also if there was a test at the end of the week there was a test to see how much I learned, and score was kept 3) some type of point system for using the app consistently! Thank you!

SO FAR VERY GOOD! I love that I have a widget to use for brushing up on my vocabulary skills. Seems I often get into a rut using fewer of the really great words I used to say. The only thing that I can see that would be an improvement on this app would be a phonetic display of word pronunciation. I love that there few to no ads and that each word is defined and used in a sentence showing correct usage.

This app does an amazing job recognizing my messy hand writing. But where i find it to really shine is on old photocopies of type text. I work with historical documents, many of which are photocopies of old news paper articles. This app is able to correctly scan most of the articles accurately (with FAAARRRR fewer errors than other OCR apps). I find that my edits are basically changing "s" misinterpreted as "8" rather than text scanned like "$/t:||" for still, etc. HUGE TIME SAVER!

As a novelist who still prefers the old fashioned way of writing, I was really excited to find this app. But I am incredibly disappointed. True to the reviews, it's about 80% accurate. Which means in a single page of 200 words, I'm fixing at least 40 typos. And the formatting is awful. Even though I make clear indents, it makes every single line a new paragraph. Incredibly annoying to have to fix the formatting of every single line of work. It would be faster to type up myself.

It does a good job of recognizing my handwriting. So it's core functionality seems pretty solid. However, I purchased the "premium" version ($4.99) expecting more features. It really just allows you to export. Not a lot of extra features for the money. I thought it would at least have some sort of list making capability. At least I can export to my notes app now, I guess.
|Can Set numbers of words, sets daily reminder
|Gives correct pronunciation of each words
|Sloppy leveling system
|No way to track progress
|No point system
|Recognizes messy handwriting
|Has a dry erase board feature
|Can be exported to google keep
|Premium lacks features
