Walling can help you work more efficiently. A hierarchy of concepts, linkages, and charting is provided by Walls, Sections, and Bricks. This aids in the planning and organization of your ideas and tasks. A Wall lets you keep track of and hone your ideas whether you're planning a project, doing research, or writing an article. The actions you can take are visually represented in the sidebar. You can refer to that wall when you start the actual task. Walling can be used by non-technical people as well as designers, developers, project managers, writers, and other occupations. Walling is divided into various components, including the Daily Desk, Walls, Sections, Bricks, Tags, and smaller components within of them. However, everything may be altered, making it versatile in use. The Qualities That Make It Special 1. A Wall Sections and Walls in Walling. You design a Wall as soon as you get on Walling. You may graphically organize all of your chores and projects on a wall. Walls are segmented into parts. It enables you to organize and contribute content for your project. Reminders and Search Walling's search function Using search, you may locate every brick you added to your walls or workstation. The global fast search makes it simple to find your thoughts and notes. I love that you can move a folder, with sub-folders and notes, which you couldn't do in the app I was using previously. The developer is awesome. I complained because the app used to remove empty lines at the beginning and soon there was an update where it stopped doing that! I feel like I've found the perfect note app for me.

Get your notes organized by filing them away in as many different folders and subfolders as you need. You can either add your own pictures or create checklists. You are in complete command of all of your notes when you use the Folino app for notes. First things first: there will be no advertising, no user analysis, the product will be made in Germany, and it will be made for YOU.

I use many tools to help structure my thinking from checklists, to note taking apps, to mind maps, and digital whiteboards. Walling is my go to app to get all thoughts out of my mind in an uncluttered and visually appealing way. It’s the easiest way for me to iterate on complex subject matter across all device types and form factors. I never stop thinking and Walling’s ubiquity allows me to capture stream of consciousness thoughts at any time on my iPhone, iPad, Mac, and PC. I find the Chrome web clipper extremely valuable as well. Once you’re ready and if appropriate for your workflow, Walling allows you to easily copy/move your content into other apps such as Google Docs for longer form presentation and narrative development. Lastly, Walling’s founder, Elmasry, listens to his end-user community, engages with them, and empathizes when prioritizing feature requests. Highly recommended founder and app.

I just started using the app and I love it. I can easily create a compelling visual workspace for my design work. One thing I noticed is that the text formatting doesn’t translate perfectly between mobile and desktop. Why is there no H2 option on mobile? It’s a great feature on the desktop version that makes the visual hierarchy easier to read. When I look at the same wall on my phone, all headings are the same size and it no longer looks neatly organized. Also, line breaks don’t seem to show up on my phone, I used a line break in a paragraph I made in one of my blocks on my laptop, but on my phone the text is just crunched together on one line. Really like the app and hope to see further improvements.

Good: - Folder format is wonderful for organizing - The simplicity makes the app very useable Suggestions: - Add an option in a note file for checklist boxes or allow text notes to be added to a check list note file. It is helpful to be able to divide a checklist into sections. This can be achieved with a small change to note formatting options. Question - What file type is needed to import notes from other apps? I use Samsung Note and I don't know how to import my existing notes.

Looks like this is the first review :-) After having experimented with many similar apps, it looks like this is going to be my notes app. Features include: folders and subfolders; synchronization with Google drive; simple appearance and features without any of the fancy stuff that I dislike. Nicely done!

FOLINO has all features you need in a notes application: * Folders and cascaded subfolders: you can create subfolders inside folders and subfolders at several levels. Many notes applications don't have subfolders or have subfolders on one level only. * Synchronization: many notes applications, only folders are synchronized.
