About WebSpellChecker

The proofreading software known as WebSpellChecker is comprised of a variety of products that are designed to meet the needs of startups and businesses operating in any industry. WProofreader, as well as extensions for Chrome and Firefox, plugins for WYSIWYG editors, add-ons for Slack and WordPress, and developer API are all examples of solutions that assist businesses in improving their texts and communication on a daily basis. The software known as WebSpellChecker comes equipped with an English Grammar Checker as well as a Thesaurus and operates in a separate browser window. Users who want suggestions on grammatical and spelling errors for a given text can use the Web API, which is suitable for users in this situation. Users are also granted the ability to implement their very own language correction strategy for use with a database or web interface thanks to the API. WPC is a flexible platform that can be used for a variety of applications, including websites, CRMs, and corporate intranets, thanks to features like user and custom dictionaries, support for multiple languages, and thesaurus. WebSpellChecker is able to check your grammar as well as your spelling in a variety of languages. More than 160 different languages can be checked for spelling errors, and over 20 different languages can be checked for grammatical errors (including Japanese and Chinese). In addition, products from WebSpellChecker come equipped with both standard and specialized functionality that is designed to help users manage and expand their vocabulary. An intuitive and up-to-date user interface makes for a productive and stress-free proofreading experience. Both a Server and Cloud version of WebSpellChecker's products are available to purchase. Businesses that have scalability requirements and want a working proofreading solution that can be quickly and easily integrated into an HTML editable control or rich text editor within a web app should consider the Cloud plans offered by the SaaS-based model. The Cloud version includes automatic updates and does not require any infrastructure management. The on-premises model, also known as the Server version, denotes that the software is installed and operated on the physical location of the business itself. The data that is being processed is 100% secure and being hosted on-site. A user can request that a solution be fine-tuned to meet the specific requirements of their organization's infrastructure and business needs.

Most popular feedback for PerfectIt

PerfectIt is essential for my business and the addition of the Chicago Manual of Style option is fabulous and will help me greatly in my editing business. Unfortunately, the Mac version is frustrating to use and still needs work. I've been frustrated by the need to run each check separately on book-length documents. Microsoft makes it impossible for me to report issues with PerfectIt because it asks me to send my documents to them. My clients' work is proprietary and that's not possible—a problem many editors have. I hope Intelligent Editing and Microsoft will continue to work to make PerfectIt Cloud for Mac better. More and more editors are using Macs and this is essential.

About PerfectIt

PerfectIt is   another excellent proofreading program, this one was developed by Daniel Heuman in 2009 for use by editorial professionals. Because it is not designed for authors, but rather editors, it offers a one-of-a-kind offering to the specialized market that it serves. It was created with the goal of reducing the amount of time spent editing by as many people as possible. When using PerfectIt, you will come across the following: A checker for hyphenation; a checker for spelling inconsistencies; a checker for consistent formatting, including italics, brackets, quotes, the Oxford comma, and other elements; Compatible with a number of different style sheets. The following packages are open for signup: Individuals and Teams: $70 per person per year for 1 to 39 users; Enterprise: $25 per person per year for teams of 40 or more There is not a free version of PerfectIt; however, there is a free trial that lasts for 14 days, during which time you can try out the software without spending any money. Every feature can be accessed across the board, from the free trial all the way up to the premium plan. This application, which has been hailed as the "leading software among professional proofreaders and editors," can even enforce the rules outlined in the stylebook that you are currently employing. In addition to that, it finds instances of undefined abbreviations and works for the English spoken in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. If you want to improve your skills as a self-editor or even if you want to earn some money as a professional editor or proofreader, you should check out the free trial of this program and see if it has what you need.

It saves you time, teaches you how to be a better writer, and improves the quality of your manuscript, and to me, that’s a perfect trifecta.
