"Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today."Sir Richard Branson
Great. I recommend it to all my students. Helps me write better. Uses AI to suggest what is common wording/phrasing in academic writing. Perhaps, sometimes the app suggests replacing "she" with "he". Programmers need to address sexism in AI! But so far I think it's fantastic.
Your scientific text will undergo an automatic proofreading with Writefull. It makes corrections to grammar, punctuation, word usage, and other aspects of writing by utilizing artificial intelligence and tailoring them to research writing. The suggestions that Writefull offers are displayed to the right of your text. They are only one click away from being accepted or declined by you. The app known as Writefull is not only useful but also fascinating. It tells you if there are identical search results on Google, which is a somewhat roundabout way of determining whether or not your sentences are well written, but it does so. Therefore, if you select any sentence in your text and the app does not give back any results, this indicates that there is a problem with the sentence, and you will need to correct it. Continuous searching is the most effective method for gathering thousands of relevant results. The application enables you to conduct multiple searches all at once, and you can use asterisks as wild card characters to conduct a more comprehensive search. You can look up synonyms to enhance the quality of your writing if you feel the need to. Simply pressing the Control key and the space bar at the same time will open the various sections of the interface for you to navigate through. Writefull is an automated proofreading service for academic writing. It uses artificial intelligence language models that have been trained on millions of published journal articles in every academic field. The language check that it offers offers individualized recommendations for academic writing in the areas of grammar, spelling, vocabulary, punctuation, and style. Writefull is more than just a language check; it also provides assistance to students and researchers throughout the writing process. The Sentence Palette and Language Search are two clever widgets that allow users to: search a database of scientific texts to uncover language patterns, and see how words and phrases should be used in context; browse hundreds of example sentences that are commonly used in research papers, and copy and paste them directly into their own writing; browse hundreds of example sentences that are commonly used in research papers, and copy and paste them directly into their own writing. Writefull is capable of correcting the text in a Word document as well as in a LaTeX file by utilizing a variety of tools, such as an add-in for Word and an extension for Overleaf. In addition, you have the option of uploading your completed manuscript to our web-based tool, Writefull Revise, in order to perform a speedy language check before submitting it to a journal.
There are other programs that offer spell check but I enjoy after the deadline simply because of other features such as smart suggestions. At this time I can't find anything that I don't like.
After the Deadline is a web application that provides free grammar and spelling checking services. It is a tool that runs in the cloud and makes use of intelligent open source technology to first identify errors and then provide intelligent recommendations. It also ensures that writers use the appropriate words for their contents by processing paragraphs and sentences in order to determine if the words being used are the words that are meant to be used or if they are some other words. Because of this, there are fewer instances of words being used incorrectly, which results in clearer writing. On top of that, After the Deadline is an application that not only corrects errors, but it also provides explanations for why those errors were made in the first place. This helps writers learn more about proper grammar and language usage. Writers are able to pick up new rules as a result of this, remember them well enough to use them in their subsequent works, and keep them fresh in their minds. The primary advantages of utilizing After the Deadline are that it does not cost anything to do so, it is built on an open source code architecture, and it is an adaptable application, which enables it to be integrated into a wide variety of different platforms and apps. In comparison to the vast majority of language checking tools available on the internet, this application's price point is significantly more reasonable. Users won't have to pay After the Deadline's standard monthly or yearly subscription fees, as is the case with most other applications of its kind. It offers them sophisticated grammar and style checking services at no additional cost. Developers are provided with the opportunity to use the tools by embedding it into whatever application they are developing as a result of the use of an architecture that is based on open source code. They also have the ability to change the rules if they have requirements for their language standards that are more specific. Before making their products available to the general public, companies can use this to ensure that their content is free of grammatical mistakes and, as a result, protect their reputations and avoid any potential embarrassment. Because it is accessible through the web, After the Deadline does not call for any kind of download on the part of its users. It is possible to use the application straight from web browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, and others. Additionally, it is compatible with the OpenOffice productivity suite and can be used with that. Before submitting their work to their instructors, professors, superiors, or anyone else, users are able to check their own contents for any errors that they may have introduced. In addition to this, After the Deadline is compatible with a variety of other applications, such as BuddyPress, Live Writer, Windows Live, and others. Users can feel confident about whatever they are typing because this provides them with an all-encompassing solution for checking their language usage, regardless of the platform they are using. While you are writing on the internet, you can use a cool add-on called After the Deadline to check and correct your spelling and grammar. After the Deadline is a slick Firefox add-on that will help you make sure that there are no errors in the text that you type, regardless of whether you are filling out forms, writing emails, or even just updating your status on Facebook. It has a wide variety of configurable options, including the capability to check a variety of optional grammatical points, such as clichés and biased language. It also has a nice selection of configuration options.
Your software is absolutely fantastic and has been giving me a lot of help during my thesis writing!

As a non-native English speaker, I should edit my writing carefully. I use many apps to do so. Writefull spots mistakes others do not. Incredible.

I am PhD student and using this tool while writing my thesis and in following science articles. It is a great tool for working in Overleaf. I have used several others before, but Writefull is definitely the best one.

I like the fact "After the Deadline" is a Cloud Based Software that helps edit doucuments and other writing matertials online. My company creates a lot of content and making sure things are correct before publishing helps out a lot. I love the fact it uses intelligence to figure out a word is the word you meant to use. The software is smarter then the writer at times. I also like the cost of the software pretty afforable.

I can’t recommend After The Deadline as a grammar and spell checker. It works well enough through its website and has a great handle on punctuation and grammar. I think if it were being updated regularly it could be a great way to teach grammar rules to people in many different languages. But there were some serious red flags. They have shady downloads, no plagiarism detector, no mobile app, and the system hasn’t been updated in years. That’s a shame because I genuinely liked using it on the website as an editing tool. The website still exists, but with the WordPress plugin shutting down in May 2019 after eight years of no updates, it’s clear that this is a dead brand that is not actively keeping pace with the grammar checking industry. I’ll stick with my Grammarly account.
