Great. I recommend it to all my students. Helps me write better. Uses AI to suggest what is common wording/phrasing in academic writing. Perhaps, sometimes the app suggests replacing "she" with "he". Programmers need to address sexism in AI! But so far I think it's fantastic.

Your scientific text will undergo an automatic proofreading with Writefull. It makes corrections to grammar, punctuation, word usage, and other aspects of writing by utilizing artificial intelligence and tailoring them to research writing. The suggestions that Writefull offers are displayed to the right of your text. They are only one click away from being accepted or declined by you. The app known as Writefull is not only useful but also fascinating. It tells you if there are identical search results on Google, which is a somewhat roundabout way of determining whether or not your sentences are well written, but it does so. Therefore, if you select any sentence in your text and the app does not give back any results, this indicates that there is a problem with the sentence, and you will need to correct it. Continuous searching is the most effective method for gathering thousands of relevant results. The application enables you to conduct multiple searches all at once, and you can use asterisks as wild card characters to conduct a more comprehensive search. You can look up synonyms to enhance the quality of your writing if you feel the need to. Simply pressing the Control key and the space bar at the same time will open the various sections of the interface for you to navigate through. Writefull is an automated proofreading service for academic writing. It uses artificial intelligence language models that have been trained on millions of published journal articles in every academic field. The language check that it offers offers individualized recommendations for academic writing in the areas of grammar, spelling, vocabulary, punctuation, and style. Writefull is more than just a language check; it also provides assistance to students and researchers throughout the writing process. Writefull is capable of correcting the text in a Word document as well as in a LaTeX file by utilizing a variety of tools, such as an add-in for Word and an extension for Overleaf. The demo environment that we've been using is much faster and easier to use than the old web-based version we currently have on our Macs. Support for issues with slow downs and the server not working have been fixed usually in less than a day's time, which is great since we have a high volume of artwork most of the time. It's been very easy dealing with just about everyone from GlobalVision and even extending our temporary license for the demo environment has been effortless due to highly responsive customer service folks. I couldn't imagine not using the software at this point as it has made such a huge positive impact on our department.

We dealt with touchy results, even when using custom settings. A large art of the inspection process is color comparison and GV would only show the color readout, including spot colors in CMYK, RGB, etc. It did not show individual spot color information which is crucial to the review. There are also limitations text comparison if the fonts in the file were outlined, which over half of our files are supplied that way.

GlobalVision does its best to make products that are robust and user-friendly at the same time. The interfaces are intuitive and a lot of the hard work is managed behind the scenes. I have used other systems and have researched most or all of the systems available. While there may be a few specific functions that another may have an edge on, GlobalVision offerings are the most well-rounded and usable that I have seen. Especially for Life Sciences labeling (artwork), such as Pharma, Biologics, & Med Device -- having a technology assist is not merely helpful, it is critical.
