I also use xTiles as a personal note-taking app and it really lacks a decent mobile version for this. Except for this, I haven't faced any other drawbacks.

This is my GO-TO app for making notes, memos, writing journal entries as well as teaching outlines! I've used it for several years. I have purchased several other apps and they sit idle because this one does it all! My desire is that this app would allow the attachment of PICTURES. When I send a grocery list to my husband's phone ( so easy to do with this app) I have to send a picture of the product I want separately. Also, I wish there were a way to turn Checklist to Writing and vice versa.

I like the way we can organize our pieces of content in a document using tiles and tabs. We normally separate tabs for drafts and clean copies for our creatives. Subpages also help to store some inspirations and personal notes. A big plus is the ability to comment and get notifications when someone comments on your notes which is really handy for collaborative work.

I like how easy it's to use the tool. I can quickly break my findings into fragments using the cards (tiles) and move them around just like I need. Also I like the possibility of creating sub-pages. It allows me to avoid cluttering of the main page.

I recommend this application to all of my friends with ADHD. I have an extremely difficult time prioritizing tasks and remembering tasks and mundane stuff like what to go get at the store. This application is absolutely my external brain for that stuff. I have lists for everything and this application makes them very versatile for my needs. I can change the color and size of the list, I can rearrange the items on the list to shift their priority, and you check/uncheck as you go.

When I upgraded my phone to an LG G8 a few years back I needed to find a notepad app I could share between various devices. I went with ColorNote, and it's so easy to use that when I got a Samsung phone a couple of months ago, I stuck with ColorNote for my notepad app. My only issue is that I can't set it to open a note in the editor and I often try to edit a note in read-only mode.

I've been using this app for a while and find it easy and simple to use. I do wish it had more color theme options, the few it has are too basic and bold. Also wish I could add a group of widgets to my home screen, instead of them taking up so much individual space. A rich text editing feature would also be very useful.
