zapptales vs Karbon

Interesting concept, but missed the mark, uploaded couple years worth of chat with videos, pictures, voice... took an hour or 2 to complete only to be told that the pictures videos and voice I would have to add manually, which defeats the purpose of the app. Hopefully they figure it out in the future, but right now unless you're doing a short chat and easily can upload the videos and voice..not worth the time .

This product is top quality - a beautiful book has been received. The communication from the team was excellent also - very prompt replies to all questions. App was easy to use and this gorgeous book documents our love story. Would unhesitatingly recommend.

In all honesty, I found this all a bit average. The app only allows you to do so much and it really needs to be done on a desktop. You have no freedom in making the text bigger or moving the whatsapp message around to space it out - so instead everything was squeezed onto 28 pages and then i had 16 pages or so of blankness. When the book arrived in the post it had been stuffed into the packaging as the front cover and the first 5 or so pages was bent over. It is what it is, but far from impressed and won't use again. On a side note, I wasn't even going to write a review but Zapptales emailed me asking for one...there you go.

The biggest downside I have found is when updating a template the templates should automatically be updated when a new version is created as if a job is on annual renewal if the previous job has not been reset the new one created is based on the last one made instead of the new updated template. I would like the option for when editing the template if there was an option for updating all existing or to update all future job creations that would be the biggest improvement.

Being able to create work, create tasks under the work, and assign to staff. Everyone that's assigned to the work can track the status of the work and reassign when needed to manage people's workload. We can also create budget time for the work/task/assignment and log actual time to better manage team capacity and expectations. I also like the comment features where we can tag a certain team member and comment on a task, note, and email message. It is a great tool to eliminate additional email messages as well as keep the communications in one place.

The thing I like best about Karbon is the capabilities that go beyond just an email platform like Outlook - the ability to create "works" for a whole team to track their time against, with organizational capabilities that allow you to manage your work day, week, month, which comes in handy when trying to plan for the future as well as grow your company. I like the ability to consolidate all of your teammates's emails with a contact so you can also get caught up on the email threads without having to bother teammates to get the TLDR, which could also get misconstrued through the game of "telephone".
