Anne Rockwell

Anne Rockwell is an author and illustrator from Tennessee. She collaborated on many of her books with her illustrator husband, Harlow Rockwell. After his death in 1988, she started working with their daughter, Elizabeth. Rockwell, a pioneer in the field of children’s nonfiction, has over one hundred books to her credit. Her work has received accolades from the New York Times, American Library Association, and the Coretta Scott King Awards. Rockwell lives in Greenwich, Connecticut.
