Banesh Hoffmann

Banesh Hoffmann was educated at Oxford and Princeton and is professor emeritus of mathematics at Queens College of the City University of New York. In 1936 and 1937, he collaborated with Albert Einstein and Leopold Infeld on a fundamental contribution to the theory of relativity. In 1969, Dr. Hoffmann was made the Honorary Patron of the Tensor Society of Great Britain. He was awarded first prize by the Gravity Research Foundation in 1964, and recently received a patent for an Orthopedic Alphabet for the teaching of reading.
