Caroline Pignat

Caroline Pignat is an award-winning author, poet, and high school teacher who was also a lead writer for the Growing in Faith, Growing in Christ religious education program commissioned used in Catholic schools across Canada. Caroline has written devotions, reflections, and articles for numerous publications, in addition to publishing seven highly acclaimed novels for teens. She has twice won Canada’s Governor General’s Award for Children’s Literature, first in 2009 for her novel Greener Grass and again in 2015 for her novel The Gospel Truth. Her books have also received the Red Maple Award, the John Spray Mystery Award, and the Moonbeam Award Gold Medal for Children’s Poetry. Caroline lives with her family in Ottawa, Canada.
