John O’Dowd is a freelance writer and celebrity biographer whose nearly two dozen articles and interviews with several veteran actors and singers have appeared in such national magazines as Filmfax, Videoscope, Cult Movies, Motown Chatbusters, and Psychotronic. He is the author of Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye: The Barbara Payton Story. John’s work on the Barbara Payton story was recently optioned by a New York City film producer for a theatrical motion picture.
