Elena Taylor is an author who also publishes mysteries under the name Elena Hartwell. In addition to writing, she teaches workshops and works one-on-one with writers as a developmental editor and coach. Before turning her storytelling skills to fiction, she worked in theater for twenty years as a playwright, a director, a designer, a technician, and an educator. When not writing, she can be found spending time with her horses, dog, cats, and husband near the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River.
