I started life in a small town in Ohio, just north of Cincinnati. Little did I know that 18 years later I’d be literally testing toilet paper–well not literally testing it– not on my buttocks!! I remember sitting in the lab feeling the creativity being zapped from my body! Can you image rolling out sheets and sheets of toilet paper to do physical tests on it for 40 hours a week? Yeah, neither could I and I did move up the ladder at this company–to baby diapers. Not sure the testing part got any better! I started writing the Blind Series when I was working in the toilet paper lab. Life took over for a while. (I call it the brainwashed years when I had to buckle down to keep my job. Don’t ask why I tried to keep a job testing TP and baby diapers–someone has to do it, bills paid etc.) Now that I have both my brain and my life back, I’m working on a number of creative projects–from painting to writing. Hope you enjoy the Blind Series. Every penny earned keeps me from ever testing toilet paper again!

Successful, sexy attorney Nicole Charbonneau feels content with her life and career as a star at a powerful law firm in Washington, DC. She is blind, however, to circumstances that will put her at the center of a web of deceit, murder, power plays, and conspiracies. Across the ocean, British MI6 agent Sean Adkins is tracking a cold-blooded assassin known as the Serpent, who’s been hired to kill President Andrews. The Serpent cares only for the millions he’ll get, not why a powerful group of men wants Andrews killed.
A master of disguise, the Serpent completes his job, but will it be his last? Sean will stop at nothing to get revenge, which includes setting a trap. Nicole–through her work and her connection to Robert Jenkins, a powerful young senator who happens to head the Intelligence Committee–pieces together who hired the assassin. Will the senator reveal to the public all he knows, or will revealing the identities of the powerful businessmen, politicians, and government officials be too much for a country already in a fragile state?
Set in 1979, when the United States was on the brink of its second oil crisis, Blind Influence takes readers on a wild ride of political intrigue and personal discovery.
