Patxi Irurzun

Patxi Irurzun (Pamplona, 1969) is the author of, among other works, the book of short stories La tristeza de las tiendas de pelucas (finalist for the Setenil Award, 2013 and Eusakdi Best Short Stories of the Year Award, 2014); the novels Atrapados en el paraíso, based on his trip to the dump Payatas in Manila (Literary Creation Award–Government of Navarra), ¡Oh, Janis, mi dulce y sucia Janis!; his journal Dios nunca reza; and Mi papá me mima (Ediciones B), a humorous chronicle about parenting. His works have been translated into Italian and Euskara. He has also written YA literature and frequently collaborates with the press. www.patxiirurzun.com
