Janet Cantor Gari

Janet Cantor Gari was born in 1927 as the youngest daughter of Mr. Cantor. She has written several other books for Bear Manor Media as well as having musicals both off Broadway and in cabaret. She was married to actor and artist, Roberto Gari (1920-2008), for seventeen years and has two children, Amanda, a performer who did the reading of this book, and Brian, who has written close to nine hundred songs that were recorded by the likes of Margaret Whiting, Lesley Gore & the Tokens as well as recording over a dozen solo albums himself. As an author, he has several books with Bear Manor and wrote all the songs for the Broadway musical “Late Nite Comic.” Janet still lives in New York City.
