I have spent 6 long years missing my reading hobby. I was so discouraged trying to re-enter employment. After losing my teaching and reading instruction career, 9 years of college invested, I could not imagine life with fatigue related low vision. I had lost one of my greatest passions: research studies. I feel life has restarted!

Downloaded it, scanned 10 pages of a book, it read the scans back to me in the faster than average speed that I chose, and was about 90% accurate. The inaccuracies were probably due to my scanning ability which will take some practice to scan the book pages flatter near the spine of the book. I’m very excited to try this with more pages. This will make my dog walks and work commute so much more productive! Being able to increase the reading speed keeps me listening more intently. I highly recommend this for people who struggle with staring at a page due to eye strain or focusing issues!

I have a problem where i get blurred vision and a migraine when I’m reading so this helps me so much if you have similar problems than I recommend this!

I have been flailing due to an eye injury on top of Lyme disease on top of long-covid and a herniated disc with neuropathy. Sitting hurts and propping a book while lying down is stressful. Anxiety over not keeping up, ADD with medication fluctuation and nystagmus of one eye, stigmatism with the other eye both before the retina injured has caused duress as an exam approaches in 35 days. I just need to get through these 500 pages and at least try the assignments. I believe this app will be the key.. thank you ever so much! It’s never too late to find a key and unlock the door to a new world!

Love this app, I have eye problems and this app helps me read headache free. Plus it’s great for traders to listen to news and multitasks

I’m still trying to get a feel of it it sounds good something I could use maybe I can share with my friend or my loved ones I wonder if it will help a blind person that’s my fiancé so I will try it out

I read all day at work, then I come home and read for pleasure. I would read until my eyes were so tired I couldn’t see the words on the page and would have to stop. Now I can close my eyes and let them rest while Speechify starts reading where I left off.

This is the most amazing app I’ve ever downloaded! My eyes aren’t that good anymore and I can’t read extensively so this is a godsend.

Speechify is awesome! I can be so much more productive! I am recommending it to a friend who has problems with her eye sight.

I can read but my eyes (eye) gets tired quickly. I can lonely see out of one with glasses. This is very helpful.

This helps me read after losing a significant portion of eyesight. I love it! Wish I had more premium voice words per month but other than that this app is fantastic.

Thank you so much! When I am not that excited for the content that I’m about to read I just can’t seem to focus or motivate myself. I’ve recently needed to start wearing reader glasses and that bothers my eyes/head so this is super exciting and well timed. :)

I love how I found your app it’s hard for me to read I also have a stigmatism in my left eye it makes me see two things or loose my track of reading or looking at things I got the Harry Potter series books last year 2020 for Christmas and I had to stop reading bc it was giving me a migraine to read and focus I can’t wait to use this app to help me read. I love reading but it’s hard for me thank you so much for this app

I love this app. My glasses are very annoying at times. This app can read faster than myself, and the voice is pleasant to listen to as well.

I just used this app for my first reading and I love the way I could change the speed while the app was reading. It is great because I have to use my glasses usually and it really hurt to have them on for an extended amount of time because of my TN. Works great!!

My eyes are so tired but I really wanted to delve into my new book this evening. Like the magic of the universe would have it, the app to read for appeared. I scammed a few pages to see if this was too good to be real. It is!

This is so great and I’m an old lady and I love my books but my eyesight is getting bad now I can take some pictures and have my phone read them to me. My grandson also use a Speechify so we can get ahead with the studies because speech if I can read faster than he can but he can comprehend it all. You don’t have to have dyslexia to need a Speechify. Thank you so much for creating this wonderful app.

I love Speechify! I am finishing my Doctor of Medical Science Degree and sustained a concussion/ traumatic brain injury while jogging down a mountain trail. Now I have convergence issues (double vision) as well as cognitive fatigue, so reading longer than 15 minutes causes migraines and I’m unable to do much the rest of the day. I am an avid reader. Speechify came in and rescued the day! I am able to read my assignments, books, text messages, journal articles, news articles, written letters, printed pdfs, you name it! Though I still must take breaks etc, Speechify has made it so I can listen to many more things than I could ever read right now. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I have recommended you to every doctor, specialist, therapist that I have seen, so they may pass the word to their patients and friends. What an amazing program! Thank you, Cliff!!

I have low vision and because of it, my hardcover books that I own had become a chore to try to read. I had tried free software which read like a robot and wasn’t always easy to use. Speachify has become part of my life. I am ‘reading’ books faster than I did when I had full vision. In addition, I can do two things at once- crochet, cook, clean .. while I am listening to my books. Having the HD voices is just like listening to a real human. Speachify also has the best customer care employees. They are fast to respond, resolve the issues and really care about their customers.
