My 7yr old enjoyed reading this chapter book out loud to me over a period of time. It had some challenging words that he needed help sounding out, but all in all he built a lot of confidence as he could read most of this to me and figure some out with the pictures. Very engaged. So proud of himself with all "8 Chapters!"

These are fun, short books that we read in 1 or 2 sittings. The kids like the adventure, especially the fact that it takes place somewhere fun, usually a different country. Stanley follows the rules (mostly) and love his family. He always learns good lessons and is a good person to learn from.

Another cute story in the adventures of Stanley Lambchop. Interesting overview of China and some of the great places to visit. Also a good look at emotions and belonging.

Ok, so it actually only took me a day to read. It's been in my to read pile for a while.Another great story about Flat Stanley who is feeling a bit sad by the whole being flat. He also is feeling a bit unappreciated as he keeps ending up given jobs because of his flatness. Holding posters, being the spotlight since the fuse blew and so on. He has an accident and hurts a performer so has to help out in his place. He travels to China...Another great new story, and highlighting a new country.
