Although Lula’s death was ruled out as a suicide, John doesn’t believe this is what actually happened. This opens up new hope for both of them, and Cormoran decides to try and solve this mystery.

The Silkworm

A new case opens up in the second book as the novelist Owen Quine goes missing. His wife wants Strike to track Owen and bring him back home, as he has this strange habit of disappearing on purpose. However, private investigator Cormoran Strike soon finds Owen brutally murdered, and now he must untangle who is the ruthless killer behind this gruesome crime before things get out of control.

Career of Evil

In the third book of the Cormoran Strike novels, his assistant, Robin, opens up a mysterious package only to find that it contains a woman’s severed leg. Strike has his suspicions about who might have sent this horrifying package, so he and Robin decide to investigate the matter more profoundly.

Lethal White

The fourth book of the series, named Lethal White, takes Strike’s and Robin’s relationship to the next level, making Robin less valuable in matters of business. On top of all, his newfound fame makes him incapable of working from the shadow, as he once did, while the case of a young man named Billy leads Strike to a labyrinthine investigation.

Troubled Blood

Troubled Blood is the fifth book in the Cormoran Strike series. While visiting his hometown, Strike comes upon a woman seeking his help, but this one is different from any other. He had never been working on a cold case before, but this 40-year-old unsolved mystery is something that this private investigator simply has to give a chance. This case brings out an unexpected turn of events and a possibility of a serial killer being involved.

The Ink Black Heart

In the latest book of the Cormoran Strike series, Edie Ledwell, the co-creator of a cartoon named The Ink Black Heart, ends up dead just a few days after she asked Robin to help her identify her online persecutor, Anomie. At the time, Robin thought the agency shouldn’t have anything to do with this case, but right now, both Robin and Cormoran are becoming interested in solving the murder, especially because Edie was killed at the mere location of The Ink Black Heart, that is Highgate Cemetery.

The Running Grave

The seventh book of the series, named The Running Grave, is on the way. J. K. Rowling announced that the Cormoran Strike series will be composed of ten books in total.
