A nice little story. It prompted Daddy and daughter to make pink lemonade together and promotes sharing at the end.

I read this to a group of about 20 kids. About 80% liked it, but only boys didn't like it. It was silly. It was pink. The kids had fun.

A cute little book about the pinkest girl in the world. In this case, her obsession leads her to try to create pink lemonade, without knowing what makes it pink. She tries a truly...um...interesting set of ingredients for her recipe, before her mother suggests a simpler [and more drinkable] version. There's not a lot of story here, but it addresses the willingness of kids to make things up as they go along. In fact, two of her ingredients probably would have made an interesting drink. When I was a kid, I remember mixing KoolAid flavors together, to get different results, so I understood her quite well.

In this book Pinkalicious decides to make a lemonade stand. She wants to make her lemonade pink so she tries a mix it with a bunch of strange things. At the end, her mom finally suggests adding strawberries to the lemonade and it made it pink and tasty! This book would be cute to use when teaching kids how to write a "how-to" informational piece.

Pinkalicious has a great idea on a hot day in the summer. She is going to make lemonade, but clearly it has to be pink! This is a fun story about how she uses anything pink to make her pink lemonade, and what happens when she does. A good way of looking at predictions, for example, will people like her lemonade? What will she put in it to make it pink?

Cute and fun! My favorite part is that Mom never outright calls her on mistakes but instead makes helpful suggestions.
