This was by far the best in the series. So sad to see these characters go, but LOVEEEEEEEEE.

Sweet Reckoning is kind of book that makes you smile, laugh and swoon; book that makes you feel emotional and sad, anxious and nervous, hopefull and happy. It was phenomenal ending to this series and it secured very special place in my heart and on my bookshelf. According to the prophecy, Anna is destined to free Nephilims and rid world of demons. But when presented with a choice, will she choose her love Kaiden or saving the world?Book started calmly, with the hints of danger lurking behind our beloved charcters. But soon enough, there was twist after twist and story surprised me at every turn. I was constantly holding my breath, overwhelmed with worry about what will happen to Anna and Co. And there is no better compliment for author that the fact that I read this book in one sitting, unable to put it down!In previous books, it was clear that Kaiden is the most swoonworthy as well as most tragic character in this series. In this instalment, his self-loathing (when it comes to his soul) was breaking my heart and simultaneously, his kindness was melting it. He truly is wrothy of "hero" status. Anna matured a lot through out this series and I liked her more and more with every instalment. Together with Kaiden, they are one of my all time favourites bookish couples and I am sad to say goodbye to them. "As I acquanted myself with all of him for the first time, I learned the power of being a woman - the wekaness in his eyes brought on by my touch - and the underlying trust and love I saw there." One more thing. I love how this author is able to write steamy scenes without completely fading to black or being explicit. It is very difficult to do so in YA genre and it shows how talented Wendy Higgins is. Angel books and I normally don't work well together. I mean, we practically loathe each other. I hated it. And it hated me. And I'm okay with that. That is, until this book series arrived.My love for this series has already been a established fact ever since I have read and DEVOURED the H-O-T-T-N-E-S-S that is Kaidan Rowe first book. It has made up for all the stressful nonsense crap and headaches I got from its predecessors (that I've read) in this genre. Many angel books have tried to win me over. Most of them ended up in my y-u-no-just-burn-to-the-pits-of-hell pile and only a VERY few had managed to squeeze their way into my heart. And from them, I think this is my absolute favorite.Wendy Higgins introduced a whole new world of angels and demons. And I am extremely sad to see it all end. After the ending I was crying bucket loads of tears! I will truly miss the gang. I'm already having a hard time coping to the conclusion of this series. I don't want it to be over!But as they say, even the best things come to an end. The book started as a slow burn, but as the story goes on, it just set fire everywhere! All the twists and turns just started to fly all over the place. Some you can predict, but mostly would just sweep you off your feet. DO NOT OPEN THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK. DO. "I don't just love you, Anna. I adore you." I've never been so satisfied, so really, really satisfied with a series' ending. This is absolutely one of the best series-enders ever! I love Sweet Reckoning and I love the whole series itself. Wendy Higgins, you are such an amazing writer and I mean it with all my heart!Sweet Reckoning is nothing but perfection. I love everything that happened in this book. It was clearly wrapped up as best as I could have hoped for.First, there was a great character improvement with Kaidan and Anna. They both grew more mature and intelligent. And the way they handled challenging things was really amazing. The plot delivery was also awesome. Compared to the first two books, Sweet Reckoning was fast-paced and a lot more remarkable. And oh, the romance. There were lots of surprises that really stunned me when it came to Kaidan and Anna's relationship. Can I just say that they're now officially my new favorite OTP? Hell yeah!I also love the way the Nephilim characters stick to each other all throughout the book. Blake, Ginger, Marna, Kope, Zania-- they are all amazing! And even Jay. There were sad things that happened in this book, but it was paid off with its SWEET and happy ending. I'm actually very emotional right after reading this book. *sobs* True to its word, it's really a SWEET and perfect tale. Never will I forget this series because I totally embrace it and it's now one of my favorite trilogies! I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone! I swear. Fav book of the series, hands down. Epic story, epic finale. Why can't there be a fourth book? WHY?!

3.5 stars actually. I was expecting a lot more. I agree with many of the reviewers regarding the climax and of course that Kaidan wasn't the Kaidan we see in the first two books in the trilogy anymore. I agree he's in love with Anna and that he's being good and true to her. But he was always in love with her (since when she gave all her money away in book one in Hollywood) and he'd stopped working in the second book as well but he hadn't changed. I didn't believe in the whole "purity" thing because the purity or impurity of an action is based wholly and truly on the emotion behind it. And what's more pure than love? However, Anna's bravery and everyone else's total belief in her and in the good was truly endearing. They were ready to sacrifice themselves for a good cause. I'm definitely going to miss all the characters. I'm very sad to watch them go, maybe more so because they hadn't left with a bang.

Wow. Ms. Wendy Higgins just perfectly wrapped up this series. From the start of this series to its conclusion, everything is consistent, balanced and that ending is damn epic! I JUST LOVE IT! Sweet Reckoning is just a wonderful, satisfying conclusion. It wasn't rushed and every important detail in the story is perfectly executed. Everything just exceeded beyond my expectation. This is really how you end a series. A total hands down. The transition of the story is indeed fast-paced and I can't stop reading. I fell in love with this series so much and it's been a long time since I'm hooked in a Paranormal series. I miss that kind of feeling. I love the character developments of Kaidan and Anna because they've become more matured compared to the previous books. Despite of all the conflicts they've been through, they were able to managed it by focusing on the problem and communicating sensibly. I really admire these two. With regards to their chemistry, OMG. AMAZING. I can't help this giddy feeling peeps!When Kaidan said:"I don't just love you, Anna. I adore you."OMFG. HOLY SMOKES. I. JUST. DIED. I SIGH FOR KAI. Kudos also to the side characters, because they had a great participation in this book. I love how Ms. Higgins didn't left them out. I'm not happy with myself for waiting as long as I did to read this one. It's the best series ender I've ever read.Let me start with the cover. Not just this cover but all three covers. It finally dawned on me what the covers were up to in this book. The color. Each book's cover color is the emotion for the book. I loved that because when the cover makes sense for the book, I'm a happy reader.Kai. I adore Kaidan Rowe. As the son of the Duke of Lust, he's not supposed to love any girl. But he fell for Anna in book one. He protected her and he risked the wrath of his father for her. Plus he's one sexy boy. British accent, dark hair and blue eyes - this boy is the total package. Skilled with knifes and determined to be on Anna's side. I love him.Anna makes me happy. She's true to who she is and fights the battle given to her. And she loves Kai. So much. I adore seeing them together. And they do get to spend some time together in this book. So nice.The story is brilliant. Truly. Painful and hard, they battle together to fight for the good of humans, the rest of the nephilum, and their hope of being together. I wasn't sure what to expect with the ending but not what I got. I enjoyed all the twists and turns. I loved how the secondary characters played such important roles. I cried for some loss. I rejoiced at some victories. And everything came right down to the end. Mostly, I enjoyed the ride.If you haven't read this series yet or finished it, you need to. I planned to pick up the books I had missed along the line this year and this was the first one. Couldn't have started with a better one and others aren't going to be able to keep up.

Originally 4.5 stars, epilogue bumped it up to a perfect 5 stars. I’ll keep this review short and sweet. (Ha! Get it? I know, I’m a nerd). Anyways, Sweet Reckoning lived up to all of my expectations and more. In this final installment, Anna and Kaidan, along with their allies, work towards fulfilling the prophecy from Heaven that dictates demons on earth will be sent back to Hell and those Nephilim who are on the side of good will have a second chance at Heaven. Many dangers and unexpected road bumps mar their path, but Anna never fails to believe in good, and to believe in Kaidan’s and her love.Ms. Higgins has developed into a marvelous author, this final book in the series was her best one yet! I loved following Anna and her journey through all three books, and how her experiences and relationships from her life help to guide her and her decisions. And the scenes between Kaidan and Anna? Hot, steamy, tender, loving, anguished and beautiful.This book brought tears to my eyes more than once (but never a full cry). The epilogue was EVERYTHING! My favorite part of the book (and those of you who’ve read it will understand). So, a full 5 star sweet rating. Bravo Ms. Higgins, you are on my autobuy list for anything you produce in the future. Just flat-out amazing. The perfect ending!This is by far my favorite book in the series. There is so much action and the relationship between Kaidan and Anna is fantastic!!! I love the development of all the side characters and their relationships! I felt such an attachment to every character.I also love the world and the angel/demon elements. They are so cool and unique!!I cried multiple times throughout this book and the ending just had me in full-on tears!! This story and the characters are so close to my heart

Life was often so cruel, so ugly. And then, in the midst of all the madness, a precious gift would be placed in your lap, because life could also be so sweet. It’s time for Anna to fulfill the prophecy.The third and final book of the Sweet evil series – Sweet Reckoning by Wendy Higgins continued on how Anna and her Nephilim friends will expose the prophecy together with the new and still unknown allies, she was ready to face the Dukes and give what they really deserve – to accept the redemption or stay in hell.But it will not be easy for them to accomplish it; there were still hindrances in their way that they didn’t know if they can win it or not. My reaction after reading this: Oh my gosh! The story leaves me breathless and the ending was pure sweetness.The Sweet Reckoning, the final conclusion of the book, tells what will happen for the Nephilims and for the fallen angels. The story really explodes my heart at the intense scenes and sexiness of Anna and Kaidan. From start to finish, I can’t really tear off my eyes from the book, which I imagined if I blink once there were tendency that it will gone. But, it’s just my paranoid imagination.Their characters here really improved; they became stronger, braver and… addictive. Kaidan and Anna Whitt’s chemistry was undeniably impressive.I honestly cried at the scene of Anna and Patti, it really broke my heart. It’s just.. I will not tell you why, discover it for yourself, baby. *Smirks at the corner.I didn’t want to finish it, but good stories must really come to end. Agree? But, you can really re-read it.
