Blame It On Bianca Del Rio audiobook

You'll have to have some knowledge about Bianca Del Rio and her wicked humor to truly enjoy this book.

I love Bianca del rio!! She’s fish, and obviously the best comedy drag queen. Fans of BDR will enjoy this book. If you do not know who she is I would recommend watching season 6 of Rdr before reading. Her jokes in writing can sometimes come off as too harsh-and at some parts I was a bit uncomfortable with the jokes. Overall though, I can look over the really offensive jokes because she equally attacks everyone (!). I wanted more chapters to be about Bianca without the fan q&a. Not even serious essay’s about important moments in her life-but there could’ve been a chapter dedicated to Bianca’s (for example) favourite/least favourite things added with a lot of jokes. After a while, the fanmail was a little repetitive. The book was funny but it could’ve been shorter. Overall, this is a good book. Hopefully in the future if BDR decides to write another we can get some more personal stories!

For those of you who didn’t know, I’m kind of (read: debilitatingly) obsessed with RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Bianca is one of my all time favourite queens. I actually got to meet her (she told me she liked my skirt and then fixed my hair for my photo and yes it was in fact one of the greatest moments of my uneventful life) before seeing her live stand-up show last year (which was HILARIOUS), so I was hyped for this to be a thing. It honestly brings me so much joy to be able to flip through pages of scathing jokes and reads while Bianca narrates the whole thing. I will say that I think the audio is 100% necessary to read this, as Bianca’s timing and inflections and just her voice in general is a huge part of what makes her comedy work, and you don’t get that over text which means that some of the humour could get lost without the audio component. Even then, this still didn’t have the same sort of magic that seeing her live or on Drag Race does because it doesn’t have the off-the-cuff charm that you get off the page. That said, this was still very funny and very offensive, which is all I can really ask for from a book written by Bianca Del Rio.Side note, if you’re reading this and haven’t seen RuPaul’s Drag Race and therefore have zero idea who the wonderful human who wrote this book is, do yourself a favour and watch the show. It’s spectacular.

Exactly what I expected. You can hear Bianca's voice with every answer. Read if your a fan, if not, don't bother, you'll probably dislike the b**ch more. 🤣🤣

Honestly, super funny! Bianca is a true comedy queen who isn't afraid of anything, literally! Besides being a comedy book it actually has some great life advice. Everyone should read a chapter or two, but prepare to feel offended Ms. Del Rio does not shy away from anything!

I have to admit I was a late comer to the excellence that is RuPaul's Drag Race but I am now a mega fan and Season 6 is my favourite season for one reason only... Bianca Del Rio's Clown Realness!!This book, which I bought in Physical, Ebook and Audio formats, is hilarious. Del Rio's trademark humour and shade is present in every page and leaves you coughing with laughter as she advises her fans from the pages of her Rolodex of Hate.This is definitely worth the physical read as the photos are both brilliant and funny in there own way. If you do the Audio you get the nuances of Del Rio's own narration which makes the content even funnier than in print. 🖤🖤I couldn't wait longer than a month to redo this 🤣🤣 Love it so much!!!

I had no idea what this book is about. But I read it anyway because of Bianca. She is my older and much more uglier spirit animal. So, let´s start with... Who the fuck thinks asking Bianca del Rio serious questions is a good idea? It´s like asking her to teach you how to do a make-up without looking like a clown. But before this book I didn´t laugh laudly while reading a book for a very long time. It´s so fucking hillarious and totally inappropriate. Mostly when she makes fun of sensitive subjects like a cancer, Anne Frank or Michael Jackson´s pedophilia. You know, jokes that boring people don´t laugh at.

Very funny! I love Bianca Del Rio! She is such a funny character. This books made me laugh hysterically. I would love to see her write a memoir. I was kind of hoping for a memoir when I first selected this book, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Her "advice" was not helpful at all, but it sure created some good laughs. I hope she writes more books! This book is not for anyone who is easily offended!

When I was introduced to RuPaul’s Drag Race, the first season I was recommended to watch happened to be Season 6. When I first saw Bianca during part 2 of the season 6 premiere, I immediately fell in love with her wittiness and her quick comebacks. I knew from the start she was going to be the winner, and I’m not saying that because I was spoiled over the ending. I was not, I just knew her talent and her spot-on quick comedic lines were enough to take her to the finish line. She will forever be my favorite queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race, and let us be honest, besides RuPaul, she’s the most successful queen. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Bianca live in 3 different cities, and I’ve met her twice. She is the sweetest and meanest person alive, if that makes sense. All in good fun, of course. This book is one of the funniest I’ve ever read, and I’ve read Whoopi’s book. This book brought me to tears from laughing so hard. Basically, think of Bianca as the sassiest bitch queen version of Dear Abby. She answers questions that fans sent in to her, and she doesn’t hold back. She gives some great advice, though. She practically tells everyone to give a f*** all about their problems and just live. That’s what we should all do, right? Throughout the book, there are countless insults, but that’s what Bianca does best. She insults you, and she still finds a way to make you feel good about yourself while doing so. So, if you want a good laugh and are easily offended, don’t read this book, for God’s sake. But, if you want a good laugh and you are NOT easily offended, then please do yourself a favor and indulge into the hilarity of Bianca Del Rio. And in the end, if you didn’t like it, well just Blame It on Bianca Del Rio. Trust me, she wouldn’t care, regardless. And as she loves to say, xoxo. Muah.🤪

** spoiler alert ** 4 stars. This book is very funny. Like laugh-out-loud, “I can’t believe she said that” kind of funny. Before I read this I didn’t know that the format was a question/answer type scenario. If I did I might have not been so keen to read it, or spread it out a bit more at least. It was a bit like reading one of those bumper problem issues of ‘Chat’ magazine that they bring out at Christmas and charge a pound extra for. It got a *bit* monotonous (sorry Bianca). I did still really like it though. I saw a few people say that they couldn’t hear Bianca’s voice and humour through the page, but I absolutely could. My personal favourite problem in the entire book is this one: Dear Bianca,I hate my wife’s nine-year-old son. He’s rude, obnoxious and mean. We have joint custody and the boy spends 50% of the time with his father. What can I do so that he stays with his father 80% of the time? BobRaleigh, North Carolina. Dear Bob, Molest him. You’ll get to 100% in no time. I actually almost cried laughing. Anyway. This book is very funny and would definitely recommend, but spread it out and read a few problems a day, don’t try to read it in a chunk, it gets repetitive.
