Clark the Shark: Tooth Trouble is a good book for Kindergarteners to read. This is a good book to give to beginning-to-read students. This book is about a shark's fear of the dentist. This is good for little kids to read because a lot of kids are terrified to go to the dentist. Clark the shark shows the kids that the dentist is nothing to be afraid of. With this book, I would probably get a group of about five kids together and have them each take turns reading it to me. The illustrations fill up the page so that there is no white space, and the words are easy to read. I would recommend this book to teachers who have beginning to read readers in their classroom.

Really good read-aloud length and good to discuss dentists and teeth, Read with Kindergarten. They liked it but I think the facts in the back of the book would have gone over better with the grade 1s.
