Eternity’s Wheel audiobook

Eternity’s Wheel was my favorite novel in the Interworld series. The authors do a wonderful job of wrapping up the story, answering lingering questions while giving hints about what might happen to Joey and the other Walkers in the future. Joey undergoes important character growth and, for the first time, feels like he has grown into his role and is fully capable of handling his problems. There’s plenty of action, and I felt the interdimensional and time travel elements were used to their full effect. The ending was satisfying, with enough little surprises to keep things feeling different from the first two books. My only complaint is I feel like some of the side characters were underutilized, as the story does revolve so closely around Joey (whereas previous books had more development of and involvement from side characters).A satisfying end to a fun science fantasy series. Recommended for fans of YA, science fantasy, portal fantasy, and time travel.

Eu jamais iria imaginar uma conclusão como essa, o que fez valer a pena toda a confusão que tive para entender os conceitos de ficção cientifica da série EntreMundos.Se você curte este gênero literário, os três livros da série são curtinhos e dá pra terminar em um fim de semana tranquilo. Eu recomendo e já estou ansiosa para a próxima ficção do aclamado Neil Gaiman.

Joey Harker is back, again, one last time, finally. Joined once more by the multitude of Harker’s, his partner and teen-angsty potential romantic interest Acacia, and the trusty amorphous blob Hue, Joey sets out to do what he does best: protect the universe and be a slightly awkward teenager. This third and final installment in the Interworld series starts with Joey still dealing with the ramifications of choices made in book two regarding The Silver Dream. Two villains, who typically fight separate, have teamed up in an effort to basically wipe the universe’s slate clean. It is up to Joey and his ragtag crew to stop seemingly insurmountable forces in an overwhelmingly unwinnable fight. Can they do it? Will they succeed? Why are you reading this review and not the books yet?As far as series finale’s go, this one is perfect (in my opinion). Not perfect as in super happy Disney fairy-tale, but perfect as in everything is explained and nothing is left untold. It is a neatly wrapped, well made, fun (albeit stressful at times), romp. If I were in control, I would have changed a few details over the course of the series. But alas, Neil Gaiman never responds to my numerous emails regarding editorial ideas and tips for future novels. If I were to rate this novel, I would give it a solid 93 out of 93 points. This is a scale I invented, and I will not respond to questions regarding its veracity. Well done Neil, keep up the good work, please respond to my emails I just sent you another one this morning why won’t you answer me.

** spoiler alert ** Foi um final eletrizante, seguindo o ritmo do segundo livro da série. Houve muita ação, fugas e perdas necessárias. Joey se tornou um líder e liderou bem em meio a crise, apesar de eu sentir que a personagem se perdeu ao meio do caos e ter pensamentos egoístas como salvar a amada e sua família.Contudo a resolução do final pareceu fácil demais comparado a expectativa e medo em relação ao Sonho Prateado. Apesar de não terminar com um final realmente feliz, em que todo mundo se salva, temos esperança do planeta do Joey recomeçar igualmente como foi e seria. Ou seja, Joey não perdeu sua família e aliás ia ter outro Joey. Então será que Old Man seria o futuro Joey e assim se estabelece a necessidade de salvar ele, da conexão com outros agentes... será que isso seria um ciclo eterno? Por que não salvar as outras Terras, por que especialmente essa?Porém ainda restam questionamentos sobre a relação entre os Walkers e Timer Watchers. Por quê a tia de Acácia estava na Terra com Old Man, e por que ele ficou vendo a família do Joey desaparecer? A própria mãe de Acácia dá pistas e cria um cliffhanger que não será respondido. E quem é a nova ameaça? Apesar destes questionamentos, a leitura valeu a pena.

A good space, time, romance thrillerI chose this book to read to finish the trilogy. I chose the first book in the series because of the name Neil Gaiman. Actually, the first book was an audio book. I enjoyed it, got book two on audio, enjoyed it, then could not access the book three audio version. Thus, the book. The series is a great YA starter. Adventure, fighting, romance, more fighting. What's not to like? If you are hesitant to link up this because some "YA" novels are a bit more dark (Hunger Games), or steeped in world building (Foundation trilogy), this is the series for you.

I really enjoyed the wrap-up of this series, it was a lot of fun! This book, however, took a while to get going, which was disappointing given the cliffhanger of the second. They pretty much rehashed the entire two previous books in a conversation... it was annoying and interfered with the flow of the story. I read the previous two books.. a quick summation I can get, but it was REALLY long... Outside of that, I liked where it went and really enjoyed all the hints at who was what and how the time continuum was interconnected between the current main Joey and The Old Man.

** spoiler alert ** This was a GREAT book. I LOVED it. Once prediction/thought/theory that I have is that Joey and the Old Man are the same person; the picture that Joey found in the Old Man's office was probably the same one taken at the end of this book. Also, the Old Man knew about Acacia, saying that it (the relationship between Joey and Acacia) was "worth it". Both the Old Man and Joey lost an eye. Also, their names are the same. I know this might not mean a lot, but I've thought since Book 1 that they were one and the same.

Gostei da conclusão da história. Plots bem construídos apesar de alguns serem meio previsíveis novamente. Alguns personagens poderiam ter sido mais explorados, seria mais fácil se conectar com eles assim...Alguns momentos foram muito farofa pra mim, com muita informação que foi difícil processar, mas tudo bem. Gostaria que a história tivesse um ritmo mais calmo, assim daria tempo de desenvolver mais coisas, mas entendo a decisão dos autores... Em geral foi uma boa leitura então recomendo.

A great conclusion to the InterWorld Trilogy! This was a terrific YA read. My son recommended the first one to me, not knowing that it was a trilogy. His ten year old daughter had read, and loved it, as well. She was very excited, when I gave her a copy of the second volume, and I'll pass this one along, too. We encourage all the kids to read, and she's really caught up in this one. This series is highly recommended to anyone, of any age, who enjoys stories of parallel earths, and time travel.

I would give this one 4 1/2 stars setting it in the middle of the series. All three of them were quite good, but this one did a very good job of tying up a lot of loose ends and making the reader want to pay attention to what was happening the whole time.Joey Harker becomes Joe in the work and finishes up his arc in fine form. By the time it ends there will not be many questions left as to what is happening with Interworld. This is good work by Gaiman and his co-authors.

Good read :)Good trilogy without all the constant "rehashing" that seems to be required for those readers who don't start the series with book 1 or don't remember? I understand it but it still and me and the sequels in this set keep it to a nice minimum... Anyway, good YA trilogy with action, adventure and interesting time traveling twists as well as lessons in fighting for what you believe in and you only fail when you stop trying.
