Immortal Nights Audiobook Summary

In a sizzling new argeneau novel from New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands, an impulsive rescue pairs a sexy immortal with the woman made to be his for eternity

Abigail Forsythe’s life hasn’t been easy lately. Still, if there’s one thing guaranteed to take her mind off an empty bank account and abandoned dreams, it’s a naked man locked in a plane’s cargo hold. A very big, incredibly gorgeous naked man. And when instinct prompts her to free him, Abigail must rely on this stranger for survival . . . a stranger who leaves her thrumming with need every time they touch.

Tomasso Notte knows he’s found his life mate in Abigail. Now he just has to hold on to her. They’re miles from civilization, hunted by his kidnappers. Abigail has no idea of Tomasso’s abilities, or of how intensely pleasurable their unique connection can be. But he’s about to show her, beginning with one wild, hot, immortal night . . .

Caught up in a series difficult life events, Abigail seeks solace with one of her best friends and pilot only to find herself sashed in a cargo plane hiding amongst the crates. What she discovers there would shock even the most hardened, a naked man drugged and being smuggled out the country for some nefarious purpose. Abigail wakes the naked man, in the crate, only to be pushed out of the plane by said naked man into the middle of the Caribbean waters.Tommasso is an immortal that has been captured by a group that wishes to study him in a lab like a rat. When he brought back to consciences by his life mate he knows he must do everything within his power to save her. Even if it means, pushing her out of the plane, swimming 100’s of miles in the ocean and keeping her safe from all that threaten her life…which might be him if he doesn’t find blood soon.Immortal Nights is another must read adventure in the Argeneau series. I loved Dante but his twin, Tommasso, has brought that same smoldering sexy steam…maybe even more.I received this ARC copy of Immortal Nights from Harper Collins - Avon in exchange for a honest review. Kitty's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book ReviewsSo, Lynsay Sands totally amazes me. Twenty four books into the Argeneau series but, she always comes up with a new storyline and characters that are fun and exciting. She mixes the old with the new, always makes me laugh and definitely has me looking for a life mate.Tomasso and Abigail were a very unlikely pair and were thrown together in the most unusual circumstances. But, they were great together. He knew what was happening every time he touched her and she just couldn’t understand why she was always waking up in the strangest positions and places. The island they were stranded on was beautiful but she was tired of running and of tyring to find civilization. When they are rescued, she gets even more confused and becomes extremely ill. There is only one way for Tomasso to save the woman that completes him and he won’t let her die. The next time she wakes up, she’ll be an immortal. So much went on in this book. The time stranded on the island after escaping Tomasso’s kidnappers was hysterical. His solution for his constant erection had me laughing out loud. Her solution to all the crab bites on his “member” was even funnier. Once at the resort, things became a little more serious since he had a lot of explaining to do and she had a lot to digest. But, they had their moments there too. They soon found out that you really shouldn’t fool around with a blood bag in your mouth.I loved that Lucian, Dante, Mary and Brickler all were included in Immortal Nights. Then Aunt Marguerite made an appearance as well. I love that woman! But, that’s what I adore about Lynsay Sands … each book is a stand-alone but she knows that we will all want an update about our other favorites. I’m not sure who she is going to pair with Jet but, the ending to this one was a bit intriguing. It will be real interesting to see where she is taking us next. Again, Immortal Nights was fun, as usual. Lynsay Sands doesn’t know how to write a “dull moment” into a story. She’s always keeping it light and fun until she has to bring some seriousness into the story. Then, that’s even a little bit funny as well. She writes characters that are interesting, intense and good-natured … that all have a “light” side to them and have a wonderful sense of humor. As I said, I am not sure where she is bringing the next installment of the Argeneau’s but it looks like it may be a bit more serious than Immortal Nights. I’m looking forward to see if she can surprise me and still keep me as entertained as she has throughout this whole series.Review copy provided for an honest review.

Since I picked up the first book in the Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands I fell in love with the world Ms. Sands created. Her vampires are different and with each book this series became more and more addicting. While each book is different and I might have loved more than others I knew when Tomasso was introduced I wanted to read his story. Now Bricker might be my favorite but Tomasso is close to the top of amazing characters that I will always love. If you read the last book you know that Tomasso was kidnapped and the crew is looking for him hoping they find him in time. He had no idea while being locked up in a cargo plane that he would find his life mate in Abigail, who just happens to be just along for the ride. When Abigail finds a naked Tomasso in the cargo hold all she knows is she has to get them the both out of there. When their connection grows deeper Abigail must choose to be with Tomasso or to keep living the life she has all when being chased by the kidnappers. It's not a easy choice, but what's a girl to do?In the series Ms. Sands go back and forth between the Argeneau's and the Rouge Hunters, Immortal Nights looks like it is setting up for the next Rouge Hunter book (yay). This story starts out with Abigail being the rescuer for an Immortal (who would have thought) but I thought it was romantic. These two might be life mates but at first I really didn't fell the chemistry between them but as the story started to progress everything started to build and come together nicely. I did feel that the romance was a bit on the rushed side, but that didn't take away from the fun and exciting story that Sands was giving her readers. I love Tomasso and glad he finally got his own HEA especially after he has watched everyone else find there's. Sands brought the humor and of course supplied her readers with previous characters which was a big plus for me since I love them all. This could be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the previous book just for a little more background on the kidnapping of him and his twin. I am already looking forward to Immortal Unchained and seeing who will be next to find their HEA and what adventure Sands will take them on. I loved the humor and details that were brought to Immortal Nights. If you are looking for a funny yet romantic paranormal read you wont want to miss Immoral Nights.

Well I have read every one of these Argeneau books and have loved them all, some much more than others to tell the truth. The last few seem to be getting back closer to what those first book were about that made me laugh so much but these last 2 have pulled us back a bit more into the Rogue Hunters world along with an multi-book overarching plot. The prime couple here are Abigail, a girl who was in some depression of her own when this adventure begins and Tomasso who was in dire straits, hopefully you read the last book Runaway Vampire which would give you the background on this circumstance. The plot starts around one of the worst romantic rescues in history and even with some humorous moments the romance seemed a bit rushed in some ways as did some other portions of this book but I did enjoy this story and was frustrated that we still have to wait to see (hopefully) some serious movement in the overarching plot which looks to be in the next book slated for Mar 2017. To be honest there is too much to tell for this to be contained in 1 book so it seems one of my favorite series will continue for at least a few more novels.Bottom line: A decent romance, some good humorous moments, a bit of a thriller in places and while the story of Tomasso and Abigail gets a pretty good wrap-up she leaves us some teasers for that overarching plot that is going to make waiting until 2017 very hard. 4 Stars and highly recommended

I have read several books in this series. The best part about this series is that even if you have not read every book in this series like I have you will still enjoy these books. Each one is a stand alone novel. The other great thing that I like about these books are the vampires are H-O-T!I would not mind be stranded on an island with Tomasso. In fact, if I was Abigail, I would not have been disappointed if I was never rescued. However, reading this book all I could think about is the show Naked and Afraid. There were a few funny moments but the funniest one was when Tomasso injured his penis and Abigail the doctor had to come to the rescue. The ending left me now craving to read the next book to see how the story continues. Immortal Nights will leave you sleepless (this is a good thing).

Another great installment in this paranormal romance series. I liked pretty much everything about it, the plot, action, humor, characters, romance; it was all good. This twins story is just as enjoyable as his brothers. Abigail stows away on her friends plane and ends up rescuing a naked Tomasso who is being held captive in the cargo hold.

Reviewed by Romancing the Readers Blog: https://romancingthereaders.blogspot....I'm not sure why I let myself get so far behind on this series. Here's the thing, I really enjoy it so...I think it's just that for a while there I was reading the same authors over and over and the same type of book that I got a little burned out. So I took a break from Sands and now I'm 5 books behind with another being published in September. Hopefully, I'll be ready for that one. As I mentioned above, I really enjoy this author. I've kept up with her historicals and usually her paranormals too. For me, Sands is a comfort read. One of those authors that can start reading and get right into the story. I love that about her. So I've finally read Immortal Nights which is the twin of the prior book. If you've read the series then you know that you wanted to know more about these twins. Throughout the series whenever they are in a book they are a complete mystery. Yes, you know who they are, but since they didn't really talk much you did really get the feel for them. Which is why at the time I couldn't wait for their books. So of course did I read it? No. But now I have read them both and I'm so glad. I love Tomasso. He is such a wonderful hero in this book. When you first meet Abby you feel for her. She's been through so much and it seems isn't done yet. It's wonderful that after losing her mom that she could find someone to share her life with. Tomasso is just what she needs. I was also intrigued by her friend Jet and can't wait to see what more is going to happen in his life. I also am glad that it seems like you got a little bit more information about what is going on with the missing people. I'm really enjoying this substory in the series. It takes a long series and rejuvenates it. If you haven't yet tried Lynsay Sands paranormals you really should. They have tons of humor in them and characters you really want to know. I would read the series in order because there are more than one story threads that run through it. Follow me on:https://www.facebook.com/RomancingThe...https://twitter.com/Romancingreader

3.5 "Attack of the Crab Monster" StarsTomasso and Abigail's story was one of my least favorite ones. The first part of the book, while they were roaming in the wild, was meh... I really loved Jethro though and I can't wait to read his story, lets hope that the next book in the series is better.

**ARC received from Edelweiss for an honest review**The Argeneau Series was where my romance reading really began. (Lynsay Sands and Katie MacAlister were my first obsessions!) Lynsay Sands has one of the greatest explanations for vampirism (or immortals in this case) that I have ever come across and I love telling fellow romance readers about her! I got to read Dante’s and Tomasso’s books back to back and Tomasso may be my favorite of the twins.Tomasso is held captive in a cargo hold by an evil doctor/scientist’s crazy henchmen. Little do they know that Abigail is in the back hiding from them as well after they’ve hired her best friend, Jet, on an “emergency” flight. We go from airplane, to stranded on an island, to island villas as Abigail and Tomasso repeatedly have to rescue one another. Tomasso’s inner dialogue was so passionate about Abigail and her ability to stay calm under pressure and her ingenuity to survive. I love seeing the male character in novels become dependent not the female character and admire her for it; rather than admonish her for thinking him weak.Abigail struggles throughout most of the book with waking up in different locations. If you don’t read the Argeneau Series that won’t make sense to you. But if you do..hooo boy you know why! ….Ok non-readers I’ll let you in on a secret. In Sands’ world, the immortals have one true life mate that they cannot control or read their mind. This makes them a perfect pair (among other things that I won’t go into detail about). One of the benefits of life mates however is shared pleasure. That’s right…they can feel one another’s pleasure. And when it gets to the breaking point? They pass out from it! Trust me this makes for some hilarious scenes. When you go to read just pay attention to blood bags….its one of the best scenes in the book.Abigail and Tomasso also discover how similar the two of them are when it comes time for Tomasso to reveal what he truly is; immortal. Abigail’s years of studying to become a doctor lead her to figuring out, mostly, how Tomasso’s family are all immortal and all the side effects it causes. Not only are both of them strong and supportive of one another; they both realize that the other is interested in science and how things work. Once again the life mate bond is reinforced. As usual others from the Argeneau clan enter the picture near the end of our story; including the newly life-mated Dante and Mary (also a great story!). As always Lucian and Marguerite have their appearances. And it seems the match maker Marguerite has a plan for Jet…… can’t wait to see what happens in the future!Until next review!!! Happy Bingeing Beauties!xoxo Nalla

3.5Originally posted at Vampire Book ClubFor the last two years Abigail Forsyth has been taking care of her sick mother, who, unfortunately, lost her battle with cancer a couple of months ago. Now Abi is trying to get her life back on track. When she meets up with childhood best friend Jet, the last thing she expects to do is to tag-along on his job as a cargo pilot. When the men who hired Jet to take their cargo to Venezuela seem less-than-thrilled that anyone else go with them on the trip, Abi hides in the cargo hold, and she discovers that the cargo comes in the form of a naked man in a cage.Tomasso Notte and his brother Dante were two more in a string of Immortal kidnappings that have been going on for a few months. Dante managed to escape, and Tomasso only hopes his twin made it to safety. When Tomasso wakes up in his cage in the back of a plane, he knows he’s being transported again and his own hope for escape is looking rather bleak. What he’s surprised about, is the woman in the back of the plane with him. When he can’t read her mind, he immediately knows he’s found his life mate, but who is she? And is she working for his kidnappers?I felt Immortal Nights was a relatively light read. This series definitely has developed a pattern that typically revolves around an Immortal finding their life mate and Immortal Nights is no different. When Abi and Tomasso finally make a break for it from his captors and parachute onto a beautiful tropical island, I felt like it was a last hurrah to summer, especially seeing as how I’ve already read books that have been mentioning the approaching holiday season.Their trek to find civilization has no shortage of humorous moments—many at the expense of poor Tomasso suppressing his urge to use her for the blood he so desperately needs at the moment, and the obviously sexual attraction growing between them.Abigail really stole the show for me character-wise. As Lynsay Sands has shown us many times, she’s a pro at making these down-to-earth and relatable characters and it was nice to read about one such character in Abigail. Seeing her growth from being a woman who put her life on hold to take care of her mother and, in a sense, lose part of herself in the process, to regaining her self-assured confidence was something that was just simply nice to see. She somewhat mirrors Mary’s story from Runaway Vampire.Overall, I thought that Immortal Nights was a good follow-up to Runaway Vampire. I mean it’s only right that the twins get their stories told back-to-back. However, I was really hoping for some more closure on the whole kidnapping story arc that’s been going on for a couple of books now. I really thought we would get further along on that storyline, but it seems as though that one will be stretched out for yet another book. The ending of Immortal Nights is very promising, and I can tell you already I’m looking forward to the next book.
