Lauren Conrad is a prominent TV personality, designer, and author. She became known for starring in an MTV reality television series and later established herself as a fashion designer and author.

Here, we’ll discuss Lauren Conrad’s books.

Lauren Conrad’s biography

Lauren Conrad was born in Laguna Beach, California, in 1986. She attended Laguna Beach High School, and in 2004, she was cast for an MTV reality TV series.

The series starred Conrad and other seniors from her school, including Stephen Colletti, Lo Bosworth, Trey Phillips Morgan Olsen, Christina Schuller, and juniors Kristin Cavallari and Talan Torriero. The show was called Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and documented their lives.

The first season focused on a love triangle between Conrad, Colletti, and Cavallari, which resulted in a fight between the two girl co-stars. In the second season, several people joined the cast, including Jason Wahler, Alex Murrel, Taylor Cole, and Jessica Smith. The third season saw a new group of students.

When she graduated high school, Conrad went to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for one semester. This is where she met Heidi Montag, a reality TV show personality, singer, actress, and model.

Soon after, Conrad transferred to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles but never graduated.

Conrad starred in The Hills, a spin-off of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. This series documented the lives of Conrad, her housemate Heidi Montag, and their friends Whitney Port and Audrina Patridge. Lo Bosworth and Spencer Pratt were significant cast members in the second season.

While on The Hills, Conrad interned at Teen Vogue. She also dated Brody Jenner briefly. The media reported on this “hookup” and speculated about the breakup. Conrad left The Hills halfway through season five.

Although she enjoyed success in reality television, Conrad never gave up on the fashion industry. In 2008, she launched her first fashion line named The Lauren Conrad Collection. However, this wasn’t a success, and Conrad ended the line a year later.

In 2009, Conrad started a very fruitful collaboration with Kohl’s and launched her second clothing line named LC Lauren Conrad. She expanded her collection to include bedding, bathing suits, children’s clothes, and plus-size clothing.

In 2013, Lauren Conrad became a co-founder of The Little Market with her friend Hannah Skvarla. This online store features products from women of varying cultural backgrounds.

In 2020, Conrad launched Lauren Conrad Beauty, a line of eco-friendly and affordable makeup products, which later expanded to include skincare. In 2022, Conrad launched her first fragrance named LOVED by Lauren Conrad. She has a children’s line named Little Co as well.

Conrad is also an author, and she has published two book series named L. A. Candy and The Fame Game. In addition, she has authored books about style, beauty, and party planning. Conrad has appeared in numerous trending podcasts.

Conrad is married to William Tell and has two children.

Meanwhile, Scarlett is dealing with her own problems and is keeping a big secret from everyone.

Sugar and Spice

In the series’ final installment, Sugar and Spice, we see Jane hurt by the betrayal of one of her closest friends. As Jane feels everything’s getting out of control, she makes a shocking discovery that will change everyone’s perception of reality TV.

The Fame Game

The Fame Game is the first part of the spin-off series, and features familiar characters from the L. A. Candy series and some new ones. Here, the main character is Madison Parker, the girl who betrayed Jane in L. A. Candy.
